lets be honest about it when the papers first mentioned over £4m i wasn't concerned because i thought we were getting both him and thomson but to pay £4.4m for one young scottish player was stupid

he was/is talented but celtic haven't profited from it

if we get an offer of 3 to 4 million then sell him but if not keep him and forget about center midfield role as we have better players for that position

right midfield is an option and his best performances for hibs and scotland have been there

I know he has had his problems over the last few years but Scott should be moved on this summer if anybody is stupid enough to pay 4 million quid for him , He is not even good enough to get a regular game for Scotland all he does is run about and argue with everyone , Tackling skills poor and he should be scoring at least 6 goals a season .

Sounds like Graveson in disguise lol. He's too much of a headless chicken, cant play smart football just runs about all day.. if we wanted a runner we should be watching the olympics.

We can right off Browns first season. His mind wasnt on the job due to the fact his sister was seriously ill, and unfortunately passed away.

His second and third seasons have been blighted by injury. His goalscoring record for a midfielder has been atrocious. He goes missing in big games, Gravesen scored 2 against rangers, what has broony done, apart from getting sent off.

Sell him now, to anybody that will take him. Give me the petrol money, and i'll drive him there myself

He was POTY in his 2nd season-the only season he can really be judged on.

If he was so bad why was he POTY last season and if there is a grain of fairness left then why are people judging a player who has only been fit and back in the team for a month and a half? Before that the guy hadnt been injury free before that since last May FFS (around the time he was made POTY!!). People are strangely willing to pretend this is not the case (even though Mogga said it several times) and pretend that he can be judged on this season when anyone fair would say he can only really be judged from around now this season.

Come on mate, although Scott Brown does have many glaring weaknesses, passion isn't one of them.

Theres a difference between having passion for Celtic and simply being a loose cannon.

I've said it before, he's usually pretty quiet in a game until an opponent * him off, he'll then chirp and kick away at that opponent until he gets booked.

Passion for me is grabbing a game by the scruff of the neck, roaring at team mates to get the tempo going, geeing up the fans when they are quiet etc

    He aint that guy

Not sure if I want him to stay or go... We need local players who understand what the club is about. The foreigners have come for the money.

Should he be captain? He's no McNeil or McStay... more of an Aitken which doesn't say much. The question that's been missed on this thread is:

    WHO MADE HIM CAPTAIN?

the bottom line is this:when broon has had a sustained run in the team we have trailed the huns, not good enough,no class,no brain,no heart in a celtic jersey.if he ends up at mordor we will probably see a kenny miller style transformation into a reasonable player.playing for the team you love seems to help
