I see on sky that Ledley , Brown and Loovens missed the game through injury and Lennon hopes they will be fit for Braga game ??

i thought we plyed some good stuff last night bh!the sending off was a freaking joke shocking infact. christ sammy scored anyway and could have let it go after all it is only a freindly. and once again samy was very good(whats going on with him lol) and the 2nd goal was well worked and well finished also.

Cervi was at fault for the goal, he could have easily saved that guys.

looked like one of those mad instances where a giant of a keeper jumps and somehow becomes shorter, he probably should have got it.

I think that there was probably an uncomfortable conversation between Lennon and Cervi about how it might be better to tip a ball over the bar and give a corner kick rather than assume it's going over and give a goal.

Cervi should have kept a clean sheet.

I agree. I could have saved that one :icon_mrgreen: All Cervi had to do was tip it over the bar or alternatively fist it clear of the box.

Anyways I am hearing we are closing in on Julian Speroni.

While we'd hate to lose him, we all know he is bound for Europe eventually. $4 million would be fine for us. We have a Colombian Pipeline of skilled players. Montano (another Colombian) showed his skill in that game against your side as well. Additionally we have a couple of Americans like Seamon the guy who scored this cracking goal against Boca Juniors...

....and Estrada (the guy who scored against Cervi) who we're developing most likely to get a nice transfer fee.

By the way, I noticed the comments about the ESPN commentators. Those guys are a joke. Listen to the commentary in that Youtube clip. That's our local and regional TV and Radio commentator, Arlo White. I and many other Sounders fans cringe when we have a game on ESPN because of the poor commentators. If I'm at home I mute the TV and turn on the radio to get Arlo's commentary.

    Rangers? Who are they??! :icon_mrgreen:

As for the guy drumming, we wouldn't think of it! That's how we do it over here. You'll find drumming at football throughout the Americas (North, Central and South). The idea of doing football chants without someone keeping us all in sync is a little scary and like i said, we have people here who grew up watching football in South America, Central America and Mexico so they really like the drums. It's like war chants. The drums just get you pumped up.

Anyway well done to all of your people who made the trip to our fine stadium. We do not have the 122 year history of Celtic but our 36 years as a club at some level or another is older than any other in MLS and older than the MLS itself so that's a start! Hopefully we will be able to duplicate your history by the time we're 122 years old. We've already won a US Open Cup (our FA Cup) and are in our region's Champions League for the first time since the 1990s so onward and upward!

don't get people saying it shouldn't have been a sending off.....in a proper game it would have been so....:bbpd:

and there was even a comment in the paper saying we shouldn't have even got the penalty..* *.the record right enough

our full strength team, match fit would have humped that team am sure.we aren't finished buying and when we gel i think we're gonna have a good team this season
