well i thought fortune was * and cervi looked dodgy apart from that our passing looks much better than under mowbray and mulgrew looks to be quite the decent player glad we signed him back

    Summary of the players:

Cervi: Poor, they only had 2(I think) shots on target, and he conceded one, and saved by the post from the other.

Defence: Pretty Good. Mostly forced the oppostion to shoot from range. Mulgrew went in with a pretty nasty challenge and conceded a free kick in a dangerous position. He needs to cut that out.

Midfield: Our strongest area and it showed. Ki looked good, Samaras played well, McCourt was our best player and was involved with most of our attacks. He gets slated alot on here but Lenny (you can hear him shouting from the side) got him to pass a bit more in the second half. He probably did the most running on the pitch, going back distrupting the opposition from playing and bringing the ball forward. Forrest looked lively when he came on.

Strikers:poor. RAS hardly had a touch and MAF messed up when he did have a touch. Gentle Ben looked better than the both of them when he came on for the last few minutes. Samaras seems to be our best striker, but is currently playing well in midfield.

It has to be Milac Misun for me :50: I know I bad mouthed him after the Philadelphia game and he was dire at left back, however Misun was immense at centre back tonight. We may well have found our new player.
You have to give credit where credit is due.

Pretty good result given it was a shadow team.

    Both CB's outstanding.

McCourt excellent. Sammy did well again.

misun is a bette cb imo, when he just joined and was in the reserves he played there and was brilliant, same tonight, brings the ball out of the defence well, and has a bit of pace about him

    Seattle Sounders 1 Celtic 2.
It could be said that the better team lost.
As I watched the game it was shocking I thought of the poor ball control and overall play of the Celtic team, it was like watching Tony Mowbrays team at 6s and 7s.
The goal that Seattle got should have been saved, Cervi will NOT do!
The game more or less was spoiled by the Sounders goalie being red carded around the 32nd minute, by bringing down Samaras.
Hate to say it but Celtic have quite a few young players that do NOT show any promise.
Hope we can have a half decent first team formed before the Braga European game! <!-- google_ad_section_end --><!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_308855-->
