Well Nike own Umbro but aye some of their kits were class.

 

Aye get Umbro back. Then we can have Umbro tributes to their own kits from the 80's and 90's and no half arsed 'no it doesn't take inspiration from another manufacturers design' efforts from NB

 

meh it's like a bootleg version of nike 125th anniversary kit, really no thought put into the kit apart from copying Nikes attempt. Could at least add a tri colour down one side of the kit or make the dafabet sponsor less visible. Badge also has to be a lot bigger, will try to get sponsor less version but will probably sell out once released. Something like this for me ( had to put another sponsor over the dafabet)

It's a cracker,best away strip since the black 2012 one.Will certainly be buying it.

 

Sorry mate last season was the best away strip in last 20 years!

 

The problem with New Balance is were probably there 3rd choice priority behind Liverpool and Porto they tend to get belters, Liverpool's home one for the new season is fantastic

 

Really like it, simple. And quite similar to the 2001 away kit

 

Don't really like it. Might look better on.

I like though that New Balance aren't swamped with so many clubs though. Clearly a newer brand, but they are putting their money where their mouth is and treat us well it seems. None of the football tops can be overly deemed as templated. Even Porto and Athletic, who if it had been Adidas or Nike would have been a basic template simply with the colours switched out. For the time being, they seem to at least be giving each club a fair bit of individuality.

 

Always wanted Adidas but don’t know how the Hoops would work with the Adidas stripes on the sleeves.

Maybe something like this Germany strip from when they won the World Cup in 2014? Think that would look smart with the green and white hoops on it.

 

It is a template. There's one in that world cup shirt thread in the pub section the same with different colours.

Costa Rica away it is, with black replacing the green.

 

Different collar and pattern on the white - my excuse and sticking by it.

 

Keep Adidas as far away as * from us.

I hate Adidas football tops, theyve managed to incorporate their 3 stripes down the sleeves/shorts design into too many teams, even if they made our home tops without the stripes I wouldnt even want the stripes on the shorts of the away kits never mind the tops.

Suppose they're not as bad as mobs like Kappa and Hummel but their one badge on things is enough.

 

Don't like the strips for next season so far. Look cheap and nasty.

 

Whens the away strip due out?

 

Nike did own Umbro for a while. They bought Umbro in 2007 but then they sold Umbro in 2012 for about a $300 loss from what they paid for Umbro originally. Umbro was bought by something called Iconix Brand Group.
