If he hadn’t had a tantrum, even with poor numbers at Stoke I think we’d be wanting him back and in contention, given the current state of the squad.

I don’t think he was ever a terrible player. The only poor performances I really remember from him was when Rodgers first came in. When Ange was here the problem was the team was playing too well for him to get a look in.

The ship has sailed but I only think it sailed once he had a tantrum. If he had kept the head, I think he would’ve been in contention at least in the short term given the current competition for places and our injury situations.

Overall of course we would want better.

 

He's have had his chance under Rodgers if he hadn't spat the dummy. I can't see Stoke taking him given his form there mind.

 

Him and Palma are two players from the same mould and I honestly think Palma is better.

 

No contest who smells better either. Haksa looks like he smells of vodka and patchouli oil.

King Luis probably smells like Tom Ford Noir.

 

He's a lazy so and so who thinks he's better than he is. I foresee a nomadic career for him floating about random leagues and moving around every other year.

Was always skeptical about him, felt like another desperate signing to pad out the numbers because of the Russian loop hole at the time. Same with his mate Abildgaard.

He certainly would have had opportunities in that first part of the season up to the winter break. But he did have his tantrum so I have no issue with him been sent out on loan.

 

Agreed. Clearly he has talent but equally clearly he doesn't have the attitude to maximize that.

 

And although it is often forgotten, we must remember this is what is truly important.

 

It’s a shame if things are not working out at Stoke but the guy seems to have a real attitude problem, hopefully he knuckles down and let’s his skills on the field do the talking.

 

I felt his technical ability was arguably the best at the club last season. Even above Kyogo and Jota. They are certainly better players overall, but his technical ability was top class. Shame about his pace and his attitude. He's only 24 though, Rodgers could have improved him.

Cant get in a bang average Stoke side, just another * in that deadbeat group that we will struggle to offload from our bloated squad.
