I like how he stepped up. Plays with hunger. We need more of our players to step up and bring us back into form.

My MOM today, just loved the positivity, gets on the ball and only one thing on his mind-run straight at them.
    Has to start midweek.

    He's deceptively quick..

Looks slow once he first knocks the ball out his feet but then he goes. Hard to read as you don't know what way he'll go either. Very clever, talented baller with drive..

Thought we were about to get a prime Messi-type goal from him at one point in the game but he got chopped down on the run :54:

Had a very good game the day, another player who hasn’t had many minutes but played well.

Strong, fast and a low center of gravity. Great technique too and looked dangerous every time we got the ball.

I think we have to play him when we put out full strength team out sacrificing O’Reilly.

Very good again today. Not the quickest but he's no slouch and is tricky with good strength and low centre of gravity and hard to get off the ball.
He's got balls aswell and isn't afraid to take a hit to protect the ball, really like what I've seen so far.

He’s going to be some player for us, really like him in the middle. Adds that pace and running in the channels we’ve missed for a while.

I figured when we signed him that the long-term plan was gonna be to play him where he played today. Looked a potential Rogic replacement from the clips I watched.

Happy with what I saw today eg doesn’t need to be a case of him or jota - if he can play centrally then we have stolen a watch tbh.

kyogo movement in front of him jota and Abada is quite frightening. GG bench option or games against 10 men behind ball,

    excellent.

    Him through the middle.

    McGregor and Hatate behind him

Jota and Abada out wide and Kyogo as our striker.

Should be how we set up.

I think that’s how Ange sees it with exception of Maeda vs Abada which I’m not sure he is set on.

Ange played Abada over Maeda against Madrid and the Huns, plus he may have started him against Leipzig if available, so I think he's giving Abada plenty of chances to stake his claim.

Although today probably didn't help matters lol.

Oh don’t get me wrong it’s clear he values Abada - just think between the 2 of them it’s not a nap who starts is all.

Abada is a young lad and the miss against Madrid is (to me) still on his mind. Spending time after training on finishing etc…..

he is putting pressure on himself and snatching - and it shows.

someone needs to have a word with him. The goals will come back soon, and his greatest skill is his natural instinct.

Agree with all of this. He is still very young like you said, and far ahead of most players his age.

I don't think him not playing every game is necessarily harming his development. Plenty of time this year and next for him to start to really fulfill that potential (hopefully with us!)

Looks class in the middle. His versatility will be so important. I'd definitely start him in the middle on Tuesday.

If you started Haksabanovic through the middle would you bring Abilgaard in as the deepest midfielder and play Hatate, with ORiley in reserve? Or the same three that started today?

Thought he looked brilliant through the middle today. Trying to watch on my phone while grafting but he looked quality from what I seen.
