I was meaning, strathspey, fort William, Rothes etc.

Regardless, there is very little chance of locos beating Arbroath in the replay, was a great result for them to draw the first game, considering the were 3-0 down at half time

Fort William are my local team, worst team in Scotland hands down. How do Loco's get on against them? I just want us to hammer a team double figures.

I hope it's Arbroath. No way we'll beat Inverurie Locos.

Yeah they are shockingly bad, normaly they'd beat them 5/6-0, however that isn't even considered that good.

If locos were to get through, and that's a big if, we could beat them double figures, quite easily, it would be pretty poor if we scored anything less that 6 against them

Will the club be able to give away free tickets to schools, etc. with the gate money for this being split? :97: Might be a bit disappointing for the away team if Celtic don't generate much income from this match. They'll be expecting a big pay day. :smiley-laughing002:

    That's a good point.

I actually wasn't aware of split gates until the club formerly known as bigots died.

I think Celtic (and the SPL) should come to an arrangement where visiting teams keep the proceeds of their visiting fans whether in the cup or the league.

That way SPL teams get a payday coming to Celtic Park twice and not just in the cups. It also gives fans of the other clubs an incentive to come to Paradise in numbers.

We need to try something to keep the league competitive.

No chance we'll win any more than 5-0 imo.
    Probably 3-1 or something.

Don't think you can say it would be poor winning by less than 6, it's still professional football not playground business.

If we were playing Locos and we only won 3-1 I'd be pretty dissapointed. This is plumbers, joiners and students we'll be playing. If it were Arbroath we should still be able to knock 4/5/6 past them.

Hope we have the game on the season ticket and dirt cheap prices for everyone else. If they don't, the attendance will be under 15,000

Cracking draw for the winners of that Inverurie vs Arbroath match should be a great day for the fans of whatever club comes through that tie.....

Would doubt we'd get anything as low as that tbh. We still manage to get 15,000 for a midweek league cup tie in howling weather against a team in St Johnstone whom we play 4 times a season already.

It'll be a Saturday afternoon kick off against a team who we rarely play which should help, plus I'm sure quite a few will buy tickets in anticipation of a pumpfest anyway :50:

    I'm not picky.
Even though it's a new club they still ARE bigots :icon_mrgreen:

Good point - I have no idea how it works

With the above in mind, is Celtic allowed to just add this to the season book (as it currently isnt on the season book)? Because if they do it will mean there will be almost no revenue to split between the teams.

In the past, if a game is on the season book how do they go about splitting revenue?
