    Forrest will get at them with his pace and directness on the big park,i'd play him and roberts for sheer trickery and class over out of form Sinclair although Sinclair is a bit of a Hunskelper too.

    brown Ntcham
    Roberts rogic forrest

    the team I would pic . Obv there's no chance of armstrong starting there but think he would be a better option than lustig. Boyata obv will start. Can see dembele and mcgregor starting too.

    Moussa looks like he can't be bothered some games, but you can't argue his big game mentality and as soon as he scores in those games he looks a world beater after that, I'd have no problems putting Griffiths in though as you know he's lethal.

    I must admit, I don’t envy Rodgers having to make big decisions for this one. You could make a strong argument for each in the case of:-
    Bain/Gordon;
    Ntcham/Armstrong;
    Rogic/McGregor;
    Forrest/Roberts; and
    Dembele/Griffiths.

    Personally, I think he’ll either start Forrest and Rogic or Roberts and McGregor, as it keeps a better defensive balance than having both Rogic and Roberts in the team. I think he’ll stick with Moussa, but I’d go with Griff given his ability to stretch an aging defence and go in behind. I also think he’ll go with Gordon’s experience.

    I really couldn’t call his choice on Armstrong or Ntcham though.

    there's a reason why we are so clear in the league ,And that's because we have such strong a squad over the rest we can't play them all of course but Brendan has not let us down yet in the big matches. 5 trophies out of 5.

    I think if we keep them quiet in the first half this will be a comfortable win. The ibrox game showed me their defence and goalkeeper are rank rotten. Their wingers are dangerous but that diddy up front can't finish so it evens out. Going 2-0 us.

    Can’t believe folk are picking a side without Jack Hendry at centre half.

    Idiots FFS.

    Some big decisions to be made.
    Thought we looked loads better with McGregor at right back, so here goes.

    Bain
    McGregor Boyata Ajer KT
    Browm Rogic Armstrong
    Forrest Dembele Sinclair

    Seriously harsh on Ntcham, Roberts and Griffiths though

    Polarised opinions on here as per usual; but TBH I don't feel the fear of some or the confidence of others. I'd rate us 75/25 to win this, but there are a lot of factors to consider here.

    1) We will be up for this; but being up and showing up aren't always synonymous (c.f. some of our European games this year).
    2) This is not just a big game for them; it's the biggest game of their whole season. I'd bet for some of their players it's the biggest game in their entire careers so far.
    3) Given (1) and (2), it's hard to know in advance if they might be more willing to put bodies on the line and run themselves into the ground than us. It's a possibility if we aren't careful. Brendan has to make sure we match their desire.
    4) We undoubtedly have far more quality.
    5) The Hampden pitch should suit us more than Ibrox or (this season also) CP.
    6) We won't play Hendry, due to Brendan's pig-headed refusal to listen to that admin bod we employed from Legia Warsaw. Enter the Ef... er, I mean the Boyata factor.
    7) They will get all the small decisions. This is a chance for us to make history and for them to take a giant step towards their first major trophy, so it will be unusually blatant. If the match stays close for any length of time, they will also make at least one scandalous decision that could potentially change the game. Brendan simply has to anticipate this and instruct the players accordingly. Be careful not to give the officials any pretext.
    8) One off games: luck always plays a part.

    With either Lustig, Boyata or Simunovic in the side(maybe 2 of the 3), they will get their chances..no doubt..

    Hopefully we will be well ahead by then.. this is going to be a day for Forrest & Paddy to remember..

    Yeah have to say those back 3 frighten me and yet they have had their moments when they've proved invaluable to the team on the day. I pray that if all three are in there they bring their best to the table. I'm a big fan of young Jack and KT if only we had 2 more in that mould.

    I am not no way betting any V's on this game bcos every time I back us something happens :56:Do it one more time Brendan :100:
