    I get not wanting McKenna, but to say his career has gone downhill since we last wanted him is a bit weird.

    The last time we properly wanted him was when he was at Aberdeen, since then he's played a good few games for a PL team.

    Yea would be the honest answer now, as a kid he was more full on but then as he developed a career it kinda changes if that makes sense JC.

    Would be better value than a couple of pints from Northern Europe, looking at Lagerbielke and Nawrocki. Comes with no transfer fee, at a good age and left footed. Also good in the air, which has caused us problems in the last couple of seasons when defending.

    I would be all for selling Welsh and signing McKenna as a back up squad player.
    Reckon he would do a decent job for us.
    Suspect al lot will depend on shifting Larger and Nawrocki on.
    CCV and a new unit, with Scales and McKenna as back ups would be decent enough

    Maybe take him on a 1 year contract with automatic 1 year extensions if he plays a minimum of X games? If he delivers and play then great or if he is donkey and doesn’t get game time then cheerio next summer.
    We seem to take on complete unknowns on long contracts which is always a gamble.

    If McKenna signs, it won't be as back up and his contract won't be dependent on games played.. probably a 4yr deal..

    For me, he should help solve our vulnerability at the back post on the left of the defence.
