@Roskopicachu regards that red card for a boot to the face, I don't think it matters if contact is made (unless you are actually Morales ironicaly enough then you can boot * out of everyone and it gets noted but only so it can't go to committee) it's the attempt that the referee has to be sure was made, that's a red card.

I don't know a lot about McKenna, he's look alright the couple times I've noticed him but I'm not sure he's better than Jozo or Ajer. Is he CL qualifying material?

Buying Scottish players hasn't been great for us since Ronny was doing it. Ok Armstrong turned out quite good but GMS, Allan and maybe others didn't, I can't mind how many we signed. Hayes is an example of a good player in a good squad which is a pity cause he's hardly getting many games, especially in his position as fingers crossed Jamesy will be occupying that injury free for plenty time yet.

Hayes did show some promise as LB though, maybe more careful but it looks like he's got a good head on him for seeing moves and that'll hopefully get much better as confidence and game time rises. Playing him against his old team could be tempting. Might know weak spots.

Not this season though with KT back, unless we play him in the Cup games but when going for a treble I would never drop KT, he's had a long rest so it shouldn't be a problem. Next season I want a LB who can play 20/30% of games cause KT needs to be well maintained.

Christie was a great Scottish buy though. Did we really only sign 4 Scottish players under Ronny? For some reason it felt like more. GMS, Armstrong, Allan, Christie?

@Big Mick Oh man no way, thread must be closed now, we're no having a Trump supporter in the team, what if he starts getting him tickets, don't want that lunatic anywhere near Celtic Park never mind our players.

Only reason to have a round of golf with Trump is cause it's an easy way to get a 1 Wood within swinging distance of his coupon without his bodyguards noticing.

I love how you make it sound like we have any kind of influence when it comes to signing players never mind how Maldini like in looks and ability they are

He was very good on Saturday I thought, solid and loves a battle plus deceptively quick. He’s not class but I’d take him if we could send them Hendry and Hayes.

Hes much better than hendry but hes not a great footballer. Old school defender which I normally dont mind but still dont think hes good enough for us.

He's terrible when it's being run at around his feet..

Edouard tied him up and should've scored Saturday around his feet and when he came on and dinked Lewis in the 3-4 he was all at sea and clumsy around him..

Needs to start and run at him constantly..

A good backs to the wall type defender..

His next move will be down England as Aberdeen seem to be content on holding out for £8m-£10m, which we rightly won’t pay.

Shinnie is not bad a bit like john Mcginn type of player, can be aggressive but limited ability wise.

McKenna is just a big stopper no nonsense then we have someone like Ajer at the back good on the ball but lacking strength in the duel.

If we still had Rodgers here, there would be no point in trying to sign him. He is never going to play the ball out from the back but if just expected to defend, he could do a job for us. I think Aberdeen want to much for him so don't see us getting him.

    Hes gary caldwell 2.0

The only difference being caldwell thought he was * maldini and mckenna thinks hes the mountain from game of thrones.

    Hes a * hammer thrower.

People are calling him an "old school defender". I call him a big dozy * with a head full of sawdust.
