Of course we want Miller gone Graham

I reckon MacDonald could turn out to be a better master goal poacher for us, than Boyd is for the Huns.

And he would be a snip at that price

As he has not come back and started putting them away its hard for me to defend him as a striker. I really like his linking play and ability to get the ball off defenders and with his pace and runs he would be a huge assett if only he could finish. But it looks like he really cant finish. One of his problems is he seems to be very poor with his left peg. Played well for Scotland again today but was typical on-form Kenny lots of good powerfull running and good speedy linking, some poor shots and no goals. I think on the basis he is no finisher WGS will rightly get one or two new strikers in and he will be frozen out next season. I would give Riordan a run now. I think he could be a top class support striker.

i dont think we need SMcD as he is defo not cl class and not even a proven high goal scorer in the SPL we need sum1 who can get 20+ in the spl and challenge for the top scorer ok hes not getting the supply at motherwell but boyd was still getting 20+ at killie. ok we probably need another striker as a reserve but weve still got beattie, zurawski and riordan and we could get much better players for 750,000 imo

Despite being Kennys arch-defender I would have to say McDonald has Kenny's qualities of speed and hastling posession off opposition but, in addition, he also is a natural poacher and has a really good shot, so he is a better striker than Kenny and I know many have been surprised he didnt get a big move a year or 2 ago. Not top drawer but good and a better natural striker than what we have now except JVOH. Still would be disappointed if he was THE new striker.

hes scored 38 in 103 games for motherwell and before thet he scored only 2 goals in five seasons and 27 matches not the best record but not the worst either since he came to scotland more stats to follow

he's got 12 goals in 32 this season not to bad

    2 caps for australia

but 8 yellow cards this season thats 1 every 4 matches

    I agree Keltoi

If MacDonald is signed for us, along with the blue chip players that Chairman Brian Quinn has promised us this summer, MacDonald's game would be ratcheted up another gear still IMO, and I have no doubts that he
would guarantee us 20+ plus goals in the Premier League, and goals in
    the Champion's League

Miller has had more chances than I have had fish suppers, and that's saying something,.... so for my money Miller, Magic and Jarosick will all take the walk this summer.

Some of those fancy foreign players that come over here on big price tags, can't hack the Scottish way of football, or put up with the * weather.

For the moment I want to see WGS put Graveson, Riordan and McGeady
back in the team for the run in,..... and Lennon, Jarosick and Miller put on a slow boat to China.

If WGS does that,..... I guarantee you we will win the League in style and clinch the Scottish Cup, and I'll start loving the Wee Ginger Magician
again, and put him back on my avatar..:34:

    WOULD YOU ALL GET A * GRIP!!!:47:

Scott PrickDonald for 750,000 a snip?

Misser was a free transfer ffs, we shouldn't be penny pinching on a new striker.

We need a proven and prolific striker, not a * middle of the road * fae Motherwell.

The problem is Dave, there is a real dearth of quality strikers
    all over the country

Of course we would all want another even bigger signing as well for our strikeforce, because big Jan has looked half dead all season

and the thing is, there dozen't seem to be any quality, proven strikers
on the horizon at the moment.

I reckon WGS sees MacDonald as the master goal poacher he is going to need for next season, as the Waist Coat and Ally Bally are bound to give
us a stiffer challenge next year, and we can't allow them to sign up all
the good Scottish talent in the meantime, and I include Skoosh Brown in that category too.

With hindsight, thank * we didn't get Kevin Thomson.
