If that ain't our ultimate enemy I ask who/what is? Being successfull is one thing, keeping pride another. I have already stated my objective point of view, now it's time for my subjective one.

I could handle Miller, Elvis and even Brown, but this is far over the top. Am I supposed to cheer on a lifetime hun? the celtic management don't give a * about our pride, the club is only a factory for them and they try to be successfull and get as much money as possible, but I'm a supporter, I want to keep our pride, so a big * YOU mcdonald and if that deal's gonna happen, * YOU MANAGEMENT AND MANAGER TOO!

 

Stein, Dalgleish etc were from hardline Rangers backgrounds and they did ok for us. McDonald is from a Tim family and probably got sucked into that by Butcher and was probably pished and just having a laugh. He could have done it for the sheer weirdness of the experience. I know hardline Irish republicans who did a mock orange march cause they had a daft sense of humour.

 

I couldn't give a * about his background tbh.He can play for Celtic wearing the sash with King Billy tattooed on his forehead if he has the talent to back it up.
I just see more average players coming in.

Wasn't even on this planet when the likes of stein or dalglish were doing their business. but then again, they at least were skilled! I think I have a good sense of humour, but there are some issues you just don't joke about. Football = War! but then again, it's of course only my opinion.

bottom line: mcdonald is objective and subjective a no-no!

 

In a Celtic jersey I think McDaonald will show more potential than I have seen in, Jarosik, Miller, Sno, Zurawski, and possibly Beattie, sign him!

When i heard the story i said no to SMCD not because of the two goals he scored on that fateful day that was the teams fault not SMCD but i thinks its lack of ambition on Celtic's part if they sell Miller,Zurawski,Jarosik,and buy i real good striker like Keane then i will be happy.

But when again it begs the question i know they are post on the board about this but i would give Deek a game up front and i think he is a better player .

But when he wears the hoops i will give him my support and hopefully i will come on the board and eat humble pie after he's scored a few goals next season .

Forget all this pish about him being a hun-member etc. Simple fact is that he is pish and the fact the Club are buying players of his calibre has left me scunnered. We wont get to that "next level" of football by buying players like SMcD end of!!! As I've said in a previous thread regarding this matter I am shocked at the lack of ambition shown by the board!! Rangers targets will not do for me, and many other Celtic fans!

 

Why do we pillage SPL teams for average players! jesus! hes an okay player, might work well with a big man, but we need to spend a few mil on the continent on a proven striker imo.

Same way with the Huns and Nacho Novo, I look at him and say he has SPL written all over him, not gna make an impact in Europe, which is what we really need. Unless were signing some young prospect, id rather look outside the SPL. What age is this guy anyway?

 

Im not happy with this signing one bit, i simply don't think the guys good enough for a Celtic shirt. But, as always, he's basically signed so i will get right behind him and hope he can make me change my mind about him.

Sorry but what a load of bullshite this about SMcD scoring two goals against us is that not his job to that ( fact ) it was MORE MON or the Celtic team's inabilty to score more than one goal against a * M/Well side .

Like i said i am not much of a SMcD fan but if he will get my support and if he scores goals then i will be happy with that .

You may be right, i always thought he was a lot older than 23, he has developed extremely well for his age. It's all about taking chances with these guys tho, as has been mentioned before it could go either way, and if it works out for the good i'll be happy. He's not on ma christmas card list yet tho, unlike you Stoney!!!
