Its not unwarranted critisism, Roy aitken and Lennon were integral parts of their team and could contribute on the pitch, Brown will have one or 2 good games a season at most other times he only hinders our play, we are a much better team without him playing and thats not just my opinion but the opinionof a large amount of our support, also the stats this season back me up on this

Rarely scores goals, rarely makes goals, rarely makes a telling pass, rarely makes a timed tackle, rarely makes a telling header. What does he do other than run about like a midfield version of Kenny Miller!!

I was made up for him scoring that goal today, it was a beauty.

I think that celebration could be his trademark from now on.

Played with many players who had a heart of a lion but unfortunately it doesn't make them good players.
Scott Brown is energetic and enthusiastic but technically he is sub-standard when it comes to passing the ball and tackling. How many times have we seen him lose the ball under pressure or make a rash challenge to try and hide his short-comings.
Yep, he gives 100% but it will never be enough to be a good Celtic player.

Scot Brown is our captain, and he is proud as * to be our captain, ......... some fans like him, some don't, but you know what ? Lenny, likes him, and it's Lenny, who picks the team. So lets all forget the argueing, over a decision our manager has already made, to have Scot Brown as Club captain. We all have an opinion, a varied opinion, on Scot Brown's worth to our team, ........... we will never get unity argueing over that one, but we will get unity over the question of who will win the league this season, and right now I cant think of a better person than Scot Brown, the captain of Celtic FC, alongside Neil Lennon, the Club manager, unfurl the Champions flag at Parkhead on the first home game of season 2012/13. Lets all make this happen together :ynwacelti:ynwacelti

    Think you have been sniffing/smoking:rolleyes:

you pick a day where scott played an exquisite
    first touch for Forest goall:50:

then he scores (on his "wrong" foot) an absolutely perfectly
placed world class goalkeeper beating shot

Captain Broony in my opinion had another great game today. His passing range has really improved this season and some of his touches, like the pass to Forrest today or the one for Stokes las week show he is gaining a greater level of control over his manipulation of the ball. He tackles, he pressurises, he plays the simple yet important passes, he gets forward to support, and most of all he fulfils the narrow role in the one-wing system we tend to play.

Most of the current squad have said they love playing with Brown as he is always positive on the pitch and drives the others across the line, whilst leading by example. Without Brown we don't tend to press quite as high either, much to Lennon's dismay on the touchline, whereas with him in the team we get right at the opposition as soon as we lose possession - often with Broony leading the charge. We also have a much higher win ratio in the league when Brown plays than without him so I think he is the perfect man to lift the league trophy come the end of the season.
