Brown was great today, but that still doesnt mean he is good enough for the team he is not, Wanyama, Kayal, Ki, and Ledley are all better players

Brown was good today-closing everything down- was unluckly with the break from certain challenges. I thought Ledley was dodgy at Left Back as that is where Saints got their best opportunities.
Our keeper was sound today as well- well done big man!!!

Brown was great today he would have been MOTM if Forster hadn't been so good.

UNlike some people who refuse to say that brown is * when he is * almost every game, I can admit when he plays well in those few instances that he does :50:

sick fed up of people giving him stick, he's technically not the best but he is forever giving his all and trying to push the team on ..a fine classy finish today and in my opinion a very good captain.

Note: Ki has been awful lately, don't see him coming in for the stick.

Brown is Celtic's captain and worth his place in the team. It annoys me when I hear Celtic fans complaining about Brown. I remember Roy Aitken used to have to put up with negative grumblings from sections of the Celtic support. Lennon in his playing days and recently in his managerial role has also had to put up with unwarranted criticism.

I guess seeing as we have such a large support there's bound to be some in our number who don't get it and don't appreciate what players like Brown are worth to the team. Lenny knows his importance, that's what counts. Scott Brown was great today, if we are to win the league he will play a pivotal role.

I've been one of Scotts harshest critics, as a captain, player and person.

Thought he was excellent today especially when in the middle.

    Well done Broonie.:shamrock:

I agree. Brown is an excellent captain and I don't get the stick he gets from a minority. I also agree about Ki. Ki gets a game ahead of McCourt for example. I think McCourt who wasn't even on the bench today would do well in a game like the one v St Mirren today. Ki doesn't look all that interested and at times it appears he's getting a game for marketing reasons.
