A RANGERS thug has been banned from Ibrox for life after taunting Scott Brown about his sister.

SunSport understand the yob will NOT be allowed to attend another Light Blues match after he aimed a sick jibe at Brown.

Footage showed the Hoops captain in rage after the thug asked ‘how’s your sister?’.

The sick jibe was in reference to Brown’s sibling Fiona who passed away in 2008 at the age of 21 from skin cancer.

Brown simply stared down the man before heading onto the bus after the comment was made.

Cops and fellow Gers supporters were quick to shoot down the taunt.

A supporter can also be heard saying: “Come on to f*** man, that’s out of order.”

Scotland women’s international Nicola Docherty hit out at the Rangers fan behind abuse.


She wrote on Twitter: “To the rangers fan that made that comment to Scott Brown after the game.

“He should most definitely be banned from any form of football match.


Absolute disgrace! No room for that in football at all!”

 

* like that is just disgusting, and I would be saying the exact same if the tables were turned here.

It’s terrible that someone thinks it’s acceptable to challenge someone in that manner for simply being successful in their role as a professional sportsman. It’s in the same vein as Lennon getting dogs abuse thrown his way because of his background or black players being the victim of racism. There’s something pathetic about a grown man having a dig like that at another person over a sporting rivalry. It’s such a cowardly thing to do as well, people like that are well aware that the actual implications for them are likely to be minimal given that it’s directed at a well known footballer, surrounded by police, with everything being filmed.

dont know exactly but wondering if "breach of the peace" or "disorderly conduct" as offences this guy could have been guilty of ? or even "incitement" thing is though if you were to arrest everyone that said something insulting or hurtful at a football match then you'd need to build more prisons

probably just best to shame him publicly maybe his club could ban him from the ground

 

Fair play to the guy who told that scumbag off but I don't understand how any decent human being could willingly support that lot.
