Plenty of opinions come and go. Not on everyone's taste. But when you wonder why people are being negative toward you, that's the deal breaker.

Wasn't even a negative remark in first place. Everyone can see he isn't the most gifted player in the Champions league, just a few can't admit it. Great at what he does.

Watching Bayern game tonight again for first time since. Hopefully that changes my opinion on his range of passing. I'll keep an eye on him :50:

Saying brown plays it safe is absolute bullshit btw. He is literally constantly looking for the ball and even when he's surrounded by opposition players. Never ever hides even when he's playing poorly.

Just shows you how supporters can be correct in their assessment of players.
Brown did go through a bad patch with us and a lot of fans were fed up with him.

But i think that,s great,as fans we know what level the club should operate at and if any player doesn't play to the required standards they need to be told by manager and fans.

Brown is now playing great and that,s what we expect from our players and we shouldn't be afraid to let them know if we think their not playing up to standard.

Constantly offers his self in the most dangerous area of the pitch when under pressure when 1 mistake ultimately leads to a 1 on 1 with the keeper..

Or shows how a lot of fans are just reactionary cry-babies and can't wait to throw their toys out of the pram rather than take a step back. Anybody that wrote Scott Brown off as finished was just wrong.

    Ye could be that aswell.
Have you ever thought a player was poor and then changed your mind?
Ye know sometimes players improve as they develop and grow and play under different managers, players that may have been poor do improve,ye sure ye can take a step back but it doesnt take away from the fact the player may be poor or going through a bad patch and if fans think its not good enough i would say their cry-babies.

Loved him for years even when he was getting pelters a while back but even I had wondered if he could ever reach a top level again.

Evident now how bad the injury he had was though, he shouldn't have been playing. Simple as that.

Now though he is in the best form of his career and we are reaping the rewards.

Especially when you consider all he needed was 3 weeks rest. That was it.

Another very poor decision from Ronny back then and one Broony should have made himself - he never hides though and that is both his biggest positive and sometimes his biggest downfall.

On 1 hand you can see why Ronny was desperate to have him in but on the other, it really was terrible management of a player who was severely hampered..

I think to be fair, he did look finished under Ronny and was so bad in that semi..

I didn't make the mistake of writing him off this time as he proved me wrong on so many occasions.

BR has come in and Broonie looks like a different player again.

    He's a legend.

I never considered him finished at that point under Ronny, it was obvious he was just still injured and not fully fit.

There's a difference between not rating a player that's new to the club and then changing your mind over time, to slating the captain of the club who had proven himself as a very good player over several years at the club, during a spell of injury imposed poor form.

The stick Brown got during that spell under Ronny was embarrassing, I think most people that gave it can even admit so themselves.

I'm sure I have mate. I just tend not to go overboard on it. I certainly never would at a game as all I'm bothered about is Celtic doing the best we can rather than trying to score cheap points for myself. ( this is certainly not a criticism of you personally it is just you have asked me the question) In terms of Broonie I have always been a huge fan and never thought for a second he suddenly became a bad player overnight so having a pop at him just never crossed my mind.
