    Brown had a real battle with Vidal tonight, and i think in the end he won. He's so underrated at this level.

    Man of the match for us. Set the tone from the off and kept at Bayern's midfield relentlessly. Resting him at the weekend in retrospect was a good move from Rodgers.

    What he done to Vidal was unreal, made Vidal start trying to fight with us instead of playing football, totally overpowered him and he eventually got subbed. To one of the best midfielders in world football.

    Naturally he’s posting some ridiculous stats again and when you put that in the context of the fact he’s not even a continuity keep the ball moving type player but a guy that’s harassing and plugging gaps for 90 minutes it’s frightening.

    He’s got a 97% pass completion rate and not a single player above him in the UEFA list has made more than 50 passes. In layman’s terms he’s the most consistent passer of the ball in the Champions League this season.
