he was awful tonight. one of the worst performances in recent years. don't think he done a single thing right tonight.

evilbunny is correct about the headers that were defenders all day long. I was screaming at him for that. Got told to calm down off some daftie, but there was at least a couple of occassions he should've left it to the CBs, and im sure one time it nearly cost us.

worst performance i've seen from him in a long time

Very unlike the Skipper last night. Wasn't any worse than even Scott Sinclair however so singling out players is a bit unfair in what was a very bad day at the office for all involved bar the keeper.

Looks like he hurt his foot at the end, unlucky not to score as it was on target. Will he be out for next week?

    Total over-reaction.

The whole team were poor last night, but far from being his own individual worst performance.

I love Brown, but he was poor last night. I don't know if I'm over analysing, (I'm guilty of this to be fair) when teams come to CP to park the bus, I'm not sure he always knows what purpose he serves in that particular match, as we don't alwys need someone sitting in, picking it up from deep etc so sometimes he tends to slow things down.

It's no coincedence to me, when teams really have a go at us, we all know exactly Brown's role in the team (Intercept, press, keep us ticking over and protect that back four at all costs) and he * excels in that role, perfect example, City last Year, he was absolutely colossal. But when it's a tight game where the team aren't here to win, merely, park the bus and try and nick a point, he occasionally has a stinker like he did last night.

He's a naturally defensive minded player, so in a game last night, where there's like at times, 6 players congested together, he tends to stick to what he knows, (Keep the ball, win it back etc) and go backyards which takes all the momentum and sting out of the game.

This is only now and again mind, 9 times out of 10 he's consistent and his usual class self I've no doubt, when we play the away leg, that's perfectly suited for Brown's game, he'll be outstanding (I hope I haven't jinxed him now saying that).

His form under BR has been insane, so the odd poor game now and again, has to be accepted. Like, 9 players were poor last night, so we can't be too hard.

I'm one of the Brown loyal guys, who defended him under RD when people were saying he's finished, so I'm not nickpicking. Just something I've noticed.

    Onward and upwards.

I agree, feel the exact same I love brown but last night I was watching and getting so frustrated he had it in the centre walking playing it to the side getting it back stopping dead passing it to the other side there was no momentum even around the 85th minute n I was screaming cmon the *. Hope he's fit for next week.

Wow apparently every player played their worst game "in recent years" yet it finished 0-0 and are still in a favourable position to go through.

How's it favourable, really? If we got a 0-0 draw away from home I'd be buzzing. Surely the home side has to be confident of getting a result after last night?

He should not have re-joined Scotland.

His body is incapable of sustaining club and national football simultaneously.

He reminded me of his start to the dreadful Deila campaign of 2015/2016.

No away goal for them, all we need to do is grab a goal over there and we're through

Like BRFA said, one goal and there's a fair chance we go through.

With Griffiths back, and Rogic back as the number 10, I fancy us to score a couple over there.

This is something that's worried me the minute he announced he was available for selection again.

Now that he's in his 30s, with his injury history, and a style of play that can be best summed up as "running through brick walls for the team" having something as simple as an international break in the season to rest, I think could genuinely make a difference in how many years he has left at this level.

It's no surprise that last year he took a break and had his best ever season, yet this year, when he went back he's starting to look like the Scott Brown of the Ronny Deila era.

I can't say I've much sympathy for him, it was a stupid decision.

    not if they score 2..

If we go one down in front of their crowd as well that could be curtains.
