3 top center midfielders to boss the game and 2 pacey fullbacks to put the crosses in. And to those who want to put brown at right mid, i think forrest is better then him at the wide positions. For me brown is an okay player who is no where good enough to push players to other positions, let alone start.

You're correct in saying he needs to be positioned wide right: the wider the better.

At minimum, the south stand; preferably, the street outside; ideally, the sea.

 

His passing is terrible and he's the most uninspiring captain of all time. He's a good player to have but he should never be captain and an automatic starter. Kayal should be captain, he's the only leader in the squad.

 

shows aggression, but not alot else. poor passer of the ball, and not much of footballing brain. he wouldn't be in my team. but as long as he is, he'll get my support.

 

people go on about brown acting the hardman in every game .. but lenny was the same as a player , always needlessly getin in the faces of opposition players . Winding them up. Its good to see imo , makes for a more fiery game .

I think we all know celtic should have won the game tonight. But with this 0-0 result, i can see us getting a 1-1. 2-2 result away from home and still qualifying.

But i just want your opinions on Broony. Do u think he is good enough to play at right mid ahead of Forrest? We all know his best position in RM but im wondering what does he provide that Forrest cant? He roars and intimidates the opponents but i think Ki and/or Kayal can do that jjust as well. Too be honest i think with Kayal and Forrest on the same field, we wont miss broony at all.

So, does our captain deserve a place in the starting 11?

Not a good night for him at all. I'm a big fan of brown but I can see where everyone is coming from. He wasn't up to standards tonight but neither were other players

 

I think Scott Brown's a great player. His determination and eagerness is second-to-none, and what separates him from the rest of the team. One of our downfalls of last season, i think, was rotating the squad too much. Keep consistency, keep our captain in the team.

what i would expect from Brown if he wants to win my respect as a player, never mind as a captain, and with all his enegy, it would have to be, him flying into meet corners, and i mean flying in, stopping at nothing, bustling them up, putting his hard head right in there full force. then i would say he is showing some bottle, he trys to make out he is up for it, load of crap paper tiger. but thats what i would expect of a team captain like him with little skill, is getting right in there with bullet headers all the time, but thats no \0/ him hes the pass back Brooney. the parkhead jester that loads get a laugh out of
