yes he is better out wide but forrest is 10 times the player he is outwide and his pace covers his * defensively the fact brown tries hard doesnt cut it for me every member of this forum would try hard for celtic! does not mean they should be playing

 

Agree with Hammer and AB#1 He should stay out right, suits his qualities better than playing through the middle.

 

The worst thing about his performance tonight was getting into argument with Sion players when the clock is ticking. Poor performance really, though whole team was pish too.

Why Brown get's a game is beyond me. What really does he bring to the team?
He's passionate but Ki and Kayal have more ability in their big toe than Brown does in his whole body. Ledley is just as passionate as Brown IMO without the stupid fouls

If we want to improve as a team, Brown has to be dropped IMO.

 

Not his biggest fan but has good qualities. However not a night to be slating individual player performances. Our system formation and player positions is what was wrong. Only one man.in charge of that

 

He had a bad game tonight but he'll pick himself back up. Too early in the season to get on anyone's back, after all we're still unbeaten and we have have a good chance of keeping the run going. He definitely doesn't "ruin" the team anyway. Not the most technically gifted player in the side sure but he makes up for that through sheer effort and I can't say I've ever been unhappy to see his name on the teamsheet.

Broony was actually playing well for about 70 minutes but I noticed how tired he looked after that. I have noticed this before about Broony. He has a lot of energy but when it dips his game really suffers. There is no way he should be being singled out tonight though. Tonight the tactics were wrong.

 

i thought he played much better at the end actually after some * done him in a 50-50

Btw Lenny has said that Brown has picked up an injury.

 

He was injured just before half time.

 

Brown was poor indeed, but not the worst. He actually had a decent first half before totally reverting back to his usual headless chicken antics

 

Scott Brown doesn’t have the brains to organize a midfield let alone captain a side.

Push him onto the wing out of the way if anything.

Ideally he’d have gone to the likes of Spurs where he could fall into footballing obscurity (with Celtic utilizing the money on far greater assets).

don't think lenny had his best game tactically

 

Captain Clown's hamfooted antics cost us dearly tonight. I really, really, really thought Lenny had finally got it through his skull that Brown is crap in the centre, and gets in the way of the players who can actually play football.

But no - there he was again, his shaven, uninhabited noddle glinting vacantly in the floodlights, like the silver dome on a plate of chicken supreme.

Oh sure, it's very useful to have someone in the centre of the park who excels at breaking up play...

i dont need to remind you do I, play Scott Brown next week, and we are out of europe,
he is offering us nothing, he can run about all day long, but it will never be in the opositions, 18 yard box more than once the whole game, drop the dud give our self a chance of getting 2 extra chances at least of an attack. He will get carded next week, as he cant play with his feet, he thinks the game is, w0n with the gub.
