    Ronny on the injury

RD on extent of Scott Brown's injury: "We don't know for sure yet but could be eight to 12 weeks."

RD: "Not fearing anything but will be big changes in the midfield."

RD on whether Scott Brown requires an operation: "We are not sure yet but hopefully that is not necessary. He had a scan on Monday.

Drop the holding midfield roles for this game and go with 5 in defence - lustig, boyata, mulgrew, jozo, tierney/izzy. Let any defender whos bringing out the ball drift up a bit into the midfield if it suits the game. 532, with Ciftci and Griffiths upfront so thst if we do counter we've options to pull them around a bit.

Almost inevitable it'll be mulgrew and Armstrong though in holding roles.

This is where playing only one system all season and not using enough of the fringe players is going to bite ronny in the *.

Forced into big changes and suddenly we will be dragging guys into the team who have had 10-30 mins in months.

We lack depth in deeper lying midfielders being saying it all season.

McGinn would have been a much better acquisition than Allan. And definitely more needed.

Seems to me Scott Brown is coming at a end with these frequent injuries.

Agree with this mate, time to see Armstrong in a much more suited central role. He needs to show a lit more physicality but a central role would defo showcase his reading of the game and his range of passing.

Was this from the knock he got? He could hardly walk at the end of the game so hopefully back soon. Nothing to do with being overplayed, he's played through injuries most players wouldn't.

needs to be 4-4-2. leigh, ciftci, Armstrong, GMS, Forrest, Rogic all need to feature in the starting 11.

Aye we have players who can play there but we don't have any defensive minded deep lying midfielders in the squad. At least one of the the two in the 4-2-3-1 has to be a ball winner or at least be able to think defensively first..It's so important to the system Ronny favours.

When you look at some of the best holding midfielders they are so essential in providing defensive cover to teams who love to attack!

Gilberto Silva was essential to that invisibles side and how important is Busquets to this special Barca side.

Ronnys failure to address the need for another deep lying midfielder is another indication of his limited tactical intelligence.

For me those two deep midfield players make or break the 4-2-3-1 system.
