Yeah I get the point about his legs maybe going but, for example, a lack of mobility never hindered Lennon.

Hoping he will make the few adjustments necessary to play for another 6 years.

Who says he can't adapt his game? He's a very clever player and, as others have pointed out, has already done so to some extent. I can honestly see him gradually moving into a Lenny type role.

 

I watched the Benfica game where Binya tried to break his leg the other week there, the difference in his game is frightening, far more mobile, far more energetic, far more technical (his ankle injury took a lot out of his game in terms of dribbling etc). He was * excellent that game and a completely dofferent type of player.

He's far better now though.

Strolled it again, puts his foot on the ball and dictates these games.

 

Never put a foot wrong and wasn't booked for the return, what a maturity he has that we can rely on him now at all costs..

Medel was trying to wind him up all game and Broony absolutely schooled him at it.

If it weren't for that yellow I think one Inter player would of got a sore one. Also was his shot going in? Think it hit VVD

 

was expecting more of medel, even GMS put medel on his * a few times

 

not only has he been the rock in our whole team, i actually think under ronny, he is starting to look like a better football player all round, his passing has never been great, but he is always wanting the ball now, were as before he done a lot of the off the ball work.

 

Medel has the nickname pitbull.

He's no even a hard man, just likes the 'rapper'.

 

Hit it flush, keeper woulda been doing well to save that..

 

I thought he had scored aswell.

Him and Bitton together works brilliantly I think. I actually think when Bitton is in there it takes the pressure off Brown a bit.

 

Medel today reminded me of M'vila of rennes a few years back. Loads made about him but when it came to the game he was shut out completely. Medel spent 10 minutes the game on his * crying in fake pain...literally

 

It was a * bullet, don't think the keeper would have had time to save it.

 

I can't remember Medel doing anything other than falling to the floor like a little *.

 

That was my first European game haha. Broonaldo still bossing it all these years later.
