All this Brown at best doing this or if this happens, or whoever is playing alongside him, he will be whatever?
When does all this happen, how many games will it take, how many minutes will he need to play, how fast and how long does he need to run, its all fairytale *, its all dreamland stuff, its Walter Mitty dreaming, why do some Tic fans have to hope beyond hope for this guy?
He is an out and out chancer in fact he is an imposter, he does NOT have a fitba brain, he has no skill of any depth, Kayal made a defense splitting pass against Ultrecht how many times have you seen Brown do this?
Sell the 4.4 million man, its a travesty and insult he is a Celtic captain even. :47:

Had a decent enough game I thought but like everyone else in midfield he really needs to work his socks off to keep his place.

i'm not gonna slate the guy after the effort he's put forth over the past 3 games. before that he looked atrocious but he's worked harder than anybody on the pitch and he's shown improvement all the time. that's all you can ask for. i'm more positive on him than i was a couple weeks ago.

Same with me and that also goes for Fortune and Samaras, this is what depresses the * out of me cos they put forward performances that raise their individual bar and then never live up to them. Maybe Lennys the man that can motivate these lads.

Those bhoys have natural ability were's Brown has.nt and has to work that bit harder ,although he play well in last nights game im still not convinced by him as ive never been and if i was Scott Brown i would be a worried man because of the players Lennon has brought in ,they have everything that he try's to aim for but like i say thats there natural game and they take it in there stride .

If Celtic get a decent left back Ledley has to play in Midfield so who goes? you cant drop Juarez ,Kayal, ,Juarez already ive seen enough of him to know he is a big player for us ,Kayal on last nights eveidence and what we have heard about him is a guy to be reckoned with so were does that leave Brown when Ledley moves back into position ,i would like to think that Lennon see's the bigger picture and drops Brown in favour of class players .

He had a good game - full of energy, tackles, but also his technique seems to be very bad compared to our other midfielders.

Certainly one of his better performances in a Celtic shirt, however I really that he benefitted greatly from the play of Kayal and Juarez, this pair certainly possess the true class that we expect from Celtic players.

I still believe that Scott's best position is wide on the right of midfield, this also helps the shape of the team, it feels so much better balanced.

He played well last night, I think partly because of the players he had around him Kayal controlled the midfield and big Danny did the leading so that let Brown concentrate on his own game.

However, he needs to perform like that consisently before I totally change my mind about him, but credit where credit's due he did play well last night.

I agree with all of the above :50: I think a lot of things influenced Brooneys game....not least being given the captaincy when he wasn't yet skilled eno himself to have it. Good pacy players around him seems to suit his game so we will watch this space.

Yep Broony had a good game and I must admit I was actually chuffed for him that he did. Lets just hope he starts to get consistency to his game and be the player the last 3 managers obviously seen.

Lets face it, he's never going to be dropped so c'mon Broony, lead us to the title!

I will gladly admit i have been a critic of Mr. Brown, but credit must be given where it's due.

The boy has been playing his socks off the last few games. Granted he still has made the odd fluff, but you can see the desire is there and he's not one to back out of a challenge.

Hopefully this is the year where Brown shows us the player we all know he can be.

I actually think the guy would be suited to playing the Lennon role. He doesn't offer anything going forward anyway but he does have tons of energy, fills holes left by full backs going forward and if we could just teach him to play the simple pass then we might drag a player out of him.

Taper his natural willingness to drive forward and he can sit in and break up opponents attacks which he is decent at if he drops the snarling.

it's a big season for our bull in a china shop and I hope he can prove all his doubters wrong here now he's got a good partner to work with in the middle.
I think he's a brilliant player, without him I feel we get runover in the middle of the park.
So many managers have him as a first pick- they all see what he brings to the team , it's time the fans seen it too

In fairness to the fans, performances like last night are few and far between.

He is also billed as a box to box midfielder, well Juarez has done the same in an attacking sense in 3 games than Brown has done in 3 seasons.

Let's keep a bit of perspective.

yes mate i agree, ruining about like a bumpy car, like graveson did, is a waste of time and effort, runs with the ball 3 yards in front of him only there for it to be taken of him at the business end

I'm happy for brown to have done well last night. I'm one of his big critics and have been over the past 3 seasons. But maybe, just maybe, the depth of quality we possess particularly in the centre midfield area may spur him on. In fact, he doesn't have a choice. There are more naturally gifted centre midfielders in our side now so if he doesn't start producing more often than not then he will lose his place without a shadow of a doubt. I don't want to comment on his professionalism but Brown must find a middle ground whereby he does all the right preparartion so he can play his best game in every game.!

Same here mate, some of his excellent work dosn't get enough praise, if he can put last nights performance in more regulary and gets a few goals I bet you hear a few prem quotes of 8m + in the summer from epl clubs

Hope he leads us to glory this season
