Agree with Brown out of CM, but what do you think about Brown on RM where he played so well in second half 2010/11?

yes he had a bad game today but it does not mean he does * all in games.

 

With all due respect my Jack Russell does that too. Interestingly your choice of words never included the likes of skilful, stylish, talented, technically gifted.

Rubbish. Just because he's a baldy Scottish guy who runs around like a headless chicken. That does nothing, that's just horrible football.

His time is up imo, we should move on.

 

Teams need someone in them with some grit and guts when things are going badly,sometimes you have to give up the skilful and stylish for such a player,well in our price bracket you do.
Im not saying he is great but he does his job well,and we have missed him when not playing in games.

 

If today is anything to go by we should sell the whole * team.

 

I suppose you want players who 'run through brick walls!' and 'get stuck intae them!' as well? I think that's holding us back, especially in Europe.

When did our fans change our outlook of how we like Celtic to play football? I was always brought up told we play 'the Celtic way', but now it seems too many fans want lumps/'stuck intae thum!' types rather than a team that plays good football.

 

We don't have the money to fill our team with players that have everything.
Look how well Barry Robson did for Aberdeen today.....for me he is the same style as brown,does the dirty work and does it well.
Do i want better....yes.
Have we got the money.....no.
As for Europe we are at least 50 million or some * lucky signings away from making headway.

 

Never seen Brown so intimidated and non-existent in my life. He was a complete passenger and the Robson/Flood pairing ran over the top of him and Johansen. I never thought I'd see the day Brown watched players run by him not even bothering his * as well as giving up.

 

Too true!!! When you listen to people talking about great hun players of the past its gregg, colin jackson,mclean people who could only kick lumps out of opponents. No skill whatsoever.

 

Broony for half the time runs around breaks up some play the rest of the time he's smirking sniggering growling doing that stupid looking away thing when going to pass the ball, their has been times when he hasn't played we functioned perfectly then he comes back into the team and bang back to square one, yes he is a fans favourite granted but for me personally he isn't irreplacable.

 

Robson has good technique, though. He's an excellent passer and crosser, and can read the game. Brown just runs around a lot.
