They haven't even got unbroken history anymore either. That would suggest that they still have some history when they don't.

Rangers FC as they were once known liquidated in 2012 and therefore the club that contained players like Novo, De Boer, Ferguson, Albertz etc now ceases to exist. That history is gone forever and will only remain with the club that once was.

Now an entirely new club has risen and become some form of tribute act with the name 'The Rangers', completely different club. The history of this new club who the same fans pretend to support began in 2012 and it not even 2 years old yet, with only a Third Division trophy to it's name. Fair enough if someone's playing * then * them - but Brown has been our most consistent outfield player for about 3 years now. He's a stalwart of one of the biggest clubs on Earth and his national team. So many successive professional managers and coaches have rated him highly, but I suppose Gordon Strachan and Neil Lennon know * all about footy?

As for no-one wanting to buy Brown - he would into most teams. Newcastle tried to buy him but we were not for selling because we realised how vital he would become.

I admit it took me awhile to warm to him, but until I read this thread I thought everybody had finally turned around to him. Astonishing there are still people out there who don't rate him.

Yep he did his trademark celebration.

But he's never scored in the CL proper which is what Broony was being slated for.
