He isn't better at Broony's role than Broony funnily enough. He isn't flexible enough to change positions during the game except from Centre Back to Centre Midfield. Something that I think Neil was trying to remedy by having him on the right hand side of a 3 man defence and giving him the onus to attack.

Which he done admirably. Broony's flexibility allows us to change the formation at will, at times this season he has played wide right, centre mid, defensive mid, attacking mid, right hand side of a 3 man midfield, a defensive right midfielder....

Broony is very discilplined in were he plays on the park. He is also better on the ball than Victor at the moment; I have no doubt that Wanyama will surpass him. However he's not at that stage of his career yet.

That doesn't even take into account the effect that Broony has on the team, he sets the tempo, doesn't allow the other players to go and hide. He makes sure they are all in the front line. Something that happens far too much when he isn't on the park.

my strongest team doesn't include brown but hey ho, he won't get dropped and i'm not arguing because he does add something good to the team which is proven through stats of when he plays and when he doesn't

You are so over estimating Brown here mate. The main issue being that he does not play any of those roles particularly well. All of our players are interchangeable bar the keeper when you think about it. Even Hooper has been used deeper. Its the way Lenny has tried so he can change the in game formation and to say this is down to Brown's adaptability is not really true. He is a squad player and not the best in any of the positions you mention.

People on here are criminally underestimating him. His best position is on the right of a three man midfield, without doubt for me. It's this role that Broony played that allowed the likes of Commons to get so far forward last season and score the goals he did. Forrest as well.

His adaptibility his just one part of the reason he's the first starter for me; the effect that he has on others on the team is so obvious I don't understand how people can't see it, he influences them. Constantly talks, constantly directing players to where they are supposed to be. He harries the opponents, he picks the ball up in midfield and keeps possesion so often. His turning on the ball allows him to switch play and open up the pitch a lot more than anyone gives him credit for.

His passing is underated, it's not the best in the world but he can come up with class like the pass to Hooper at Ibrox for Hoopers goal and he has done things like that a lot in big games. I can remember another one to Sammy who hit the post in the Mark Wilson 1-0 Old Firm match, a great ball through to Commons in the Scottish Cup Final last year...

Like I said earlier in the thread, I watched a couple of videos of all goals scored under Neil Lennon the other night, the amount of goals that Broony was involved in is insane.

He is the heart of our team whether people can see it or not. He is exceptional at what he does; his covering of other players and his tracking back is excellent.

And he's the only guy in our team who can hit a decent penalty.

He is criminally underated on here; similar to the criticism that Joe Ledley was getting before he started banging goals in.

All you need to do is look at the differences of us with Scott Brown on the pitch and without...

Like I said earlier in this thread, our turn around in form coincided with Broony's return to fitness.

YOU really UNDERESTIMATE BROWN it's like a pineapple on an ELEVATORE as you cannot see the GREEN grass of it through the WOODS. So LENNON must choose him every game AS he is like a CHOCOLATE button, so WHEN will you see the buttons are not MILK chocolate they are WHITE.

i have never read so much tosh in all my life about a player, you are encouraging poor play, a player that's on 25k a week that cant make a simple pass, yet your peeing your pants should any one, tell you he is crap, where are you getting this from I have never yet seen these dreams you are having of this guys play, ALL I see is a numpty ruining about. with arms up in the air, but when you do look down AT HIS FEET you would swear he still has the strings on his Wellington's, cos only someone with Wellington's on, could displace that amount of balls, why are we paying out good money here for someone that has so little ability.
have we no intentions of going forward at all.

Can you categorically confirm that Scott Brown is on 25k a week? Or is that just a number you plucked up from the ether or is it substantiated from the contracts that Celtic have provided to the SFA:97:
