its no coincidence this run coincided with him getting back to 100% again.

 

Brown's the best player in Scotland and has been since Nakamura went back home. Very different but most important to what it takes to win games.

 

He's not any different. Jut fit and more experienced.

 

We were flat today without Broony although I dont know if it was only due to that, could be as it happens a lot when hes missing or if it was because we're not really playing for anything now and Motherwell were desperate to win.

Just thinking of captains who won the Treble, I seen Tom Boyd at the game today, walked past me in the stadium. I always thought he was smaller than he is.

 

Well he's certainly got more chance than Scott * Brown.

 

I thought we really missed Browns drive against Well.

He seems to be the one that drives the team forward... not side to side to side to side to side to side... etc. etc.

 

Missed his drive yesterday. Heard Lenny say the team looked a bit tired. Don't think that would have happened with Broony involved.

Hopefully his injury doesn't affect his run of form.

Without Brown in the team we have no urgency at all.

 

No doubting the difference in form, but his ball retention, passing and temperament still troubles me, I just don't think he has the game if we are serious about Champions League qualification.

Qualities like dig, energy, drive and aggression won't cut it there.

 

Brown has performed excellently in Europe on a number of occasions.

 

Nothing really 'stand-out' for me.

He did well in the Strachan years in defensive formations as a spoiler, I think we need to be looking past that, plus he had an absolute nightmare in Utrecht, although admittedly most of the team did.

Will be happy to be proved wrong.

 

The match Binya tried to break his leg he ha an absolute stormer.

He also always performs well for Scotland, which is a high level of football.
