Little flick over the head was tidy, and his individual running was an inspiration to the rest of the side. Continues to be a quality addition to the team.

Not phenomenal by any means, but he's about as good as you'll find in Scotland.

He has been great for nearly a season and a half and it its only now that a lot of the celtic fans are coming round to what a good player he is.

him, ledley and big mulgrew dragged us over the line today. he never shied away from taking the ball in the last 20 min and running with it and then winning us throw ins to run the clock down was always pressing the opposition and also had to cover for wee forrest in the second half who didn't seem interested in defending or helping matthews when he was struggling. another captains performance a just hope the rest of our squad up there game

Absolutely phenomenal once again today. Been a big fan of his since his return from injury before Christmas last season and he is on great form at the moment. He is showing that he does indeed play his best football when given greater licence from central midfield, which Wanyama provides brilliantly. An inspirational captain these days who is easily our best player to boot just now. His running today was fantastic and along with Ledley and Sammy ensured we won the game.

Very good today. Some nice runs, turning well in tight spaces and passing was tidy and productive bar that one pass at the end.

Whats changed him? i mean common the turn around in his game has been incredible ever since his opp! Im not down crying him not by far but where the * has it come from.

Before he had his opp i was a absolute hater! didn't think he was worth his spot in the team i wanted him sold, since hes come back he looks faster, more agile, more creative, stronger and more hungry! than he's ever looked in a Celtic shirt he's now looking the player we all thought he could be when he signed from Hibs.

Right now Broony could * on my doorstep and i think i would thank him hes been * fantastic! I really hope he continues to play like this for a long long time :)

a think the loss of his sister had a huge effect on him and then having these injuries in his ankles it affected his ability to turn and put enough pressure on it to run like he could at hibs. a also think having a consistent partnership in midfield and the squad in a hole has had a huge effect and even broony has said his form is more down to the players around him rather than himself

Another excellent display from our captain. Leads by example. Shame he didn't get a goal today

To be honest I've always been a fan of Brown but he has never played as well as he is doing now.

The role he's being played in, I think.

I've always thought he lacked the main attributes to be a central midfielder. Range of passing not good enough, footballing intelligence not sharp enough, and not disciplined enough in his temperament to hold position and keep the team shape.

Then when Lenny started playing him down the right (in a throwback to his Hibs days) he looked better - he was freer to dodge about and snip & snap where the mood took him. But then he was keeping James Forrest out of his slot, which was not ideal - and in the longer run not acceptable.

Now we're playing what is in effect a 5-man midfield - Joe and Vic solid in the centre, Sammy and James bombing down the wings & cutting inside to shoot, and Broony almost in a free role. He's found his niche.

My main problem with him was always that he was getting in the way of better players, and sometimes keeping them out of position and even out of the team. With this new 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 setup, that problem has been solved. :50:

That's clearly not true. He was great in the second half of last season, injured for much of the first half of this season and has really come onto a game recently.

I'm one of his biggest critics but I will have a smile as wide as the clyde if he keeps on proving me wrong.

An absolute colossus for us lately.

Hail Hail to the Captain. :50:

bit harsh on forrest, after the sending off forrest was told to play in behind sammy so it wasn't really his job to cover the overlap but within 15 minutes of lenny making the change he saw that we were giving away too much down that side on the overlap so forrest returned to his position and covered the runners well until he was removed.

no he wasn't cause lenny went off his head when he seen brown over closing the boy down and forrest was only 10 yards away doing nothing. he got mixed up after the changes and it was when the squad was trying to settle after maj getting sent off staright after it happened you could see lenny shouting and him and wee forrest making hand signals to ask where he was supposed to be. a should have said forrest last 15 mins rather than the second half and a wasn't meaning to have a go but if brown hadn't covered then we could have been up * creek with the balls wee hayes was whipping in

lenny did change it so that forrest was in behind sammy in the center after the sending off but lenny changed the formation back after he saw how much success ict were having down that wing.
