    Interesting developments going on there.

I reckon he might see out another season and see if he can somehow try and get Fleetwood to challenge for a play off spot next season.

I know it isn't anything to write home about either but their run of form of late has meant they have a positive goal difference, albeit 1 goal...where as Port Vale who are a point ahead have a -14.

If he can continue on this trend and have enough for next season to try and build a challenge, I'd say they could be a dark horse for fighting for play off spot

If there’s one thing to never doubt about Broony it’s his mental strength and determination to be fair.

Aye true. Has plenty of experience rallying those around him on the pitch, can imagine that translates quite easily to the motivational side of management.

Have you or anyone else watched much of them? What sort of football are they playing?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him linked with the Wycombe job. Doing very well.

Won’t lie, would of loved Ange to have kept him here as a coach and to learn from him but seems to be doing a good job anyway. Delighted for him

Another win for Broony....Fleetwood up to 11th, well clear of the drop now.

Things really are looking up for him at Fleetwood...hopefully they are in for a strong finish to help move forward with confidence.

I would definitely say now with confidence that they'd be a great dark horse, outsider bet to get play off spot next season.

Wasn’t entirely convinced that he would’ve made a good manger, but great to see him doing well.

Fleetwood are a tiny, tiny club, it was a miracle they survived last season (I'm sure I read it was the lowest points tally ever to survive) To see broony keeping them mid-table is an incredible job for his first season.

Aberdeen should be all over him for their next manager imo.

Dunno man , would go back to the sheep ? They are a basket case , doing well down there would probably get him a championship gig.

Surprised at that, for me he's such a natural leader and positive influence on other players. Makes sense he could continue that into coaching.

May just be an old fashioned view of managers. Felt as though he may be the type to be too close to the players - more like an assistant or coach - than the manager.

Glad to see him doing well anyway and hope he continues to prove me wrong.

If he manages to keep Fleetwood in the top half of the table by the end of the season, they've come on leaps and bounds under him. They scraped League One status last year on goal difference. The fact he has managed to keep them safe while slowly lifting them up the table is remarkable for his first job.

That being said, I'm not fully aware of where Fleetwood, as a club, and their fan base see them as a club. I know Barton took them to the play offs in 2020. They also finished in the play offs in the 2015/16 season. Is that something they expect? I guess only the fans and the club will be able to tell you that. Given where they were last season though, I'd expect they would want to survive as a minimum requirement. Which looks like it will happen. If he can get them into the top half of the table, that will be going above expectations I would think.

His next job in management will be a big one. If he does do well for the remainder of the season, he will be on the list of teams come the summer. Relegated clubs from the Championship will be on the lookout for a new manager. Wigan, Huddersfield, Blackpool, Stoke, Cardiff, Rotherham, Birmingham, QPR.. they're all in that relegation dog fight. Then you have bigger teams in League One who are not performing where they should be. Peterborough, Portsmouth, Wycombe, Charlton, MK Dons.... big clubs who probably see themselves as Championship Clubs. I think he will consistently do well for Fleetwood, given safety seems to be where they want to be continuously. The problem will be in when he makes that next move where there is more pressure. How does he build a team to challenge for Promotions and Play-Offs.

Fleetwood still level at Burnley after 30 minutes.

Brown determined to keep his team playing it out from the back. No idea how they haven’t conceded from it yet though as they’re giving it away like daft

Fleetwood * now, I'm not sure it was a red. The guy sticks his head at waist height. The leg was in a normal place

Never a red. Boy tries to pull out of it as soon as he sees any danger too.

Shocking decision and even Burnley fans are saying so
