To all the Robson doubters and fans ive agued with in the past take that performance and stick it in your pipe.

He provides our team with a heart beat through the centre he was our best player up until being subbed and he should be a certain starter from now on.

Yes until the end of the season Hartley and Robson should and I hope will play.

Long term though I still think Brown will be very good and very important for us.

Who would you rather for Scotland Hartley or Brown?

I'm Brown all the way but I like Hartley. Just suprising that after tonight Robson is 1st pick for me for Scotland and Celtic.

Not sure. To be honest I think Robson is a pretty limited player who gives his all and then more - thats not a major criticism because thats what you need sometimes (tonight being the obvious example).

I like Hartley too and to be fair I don't think you can compare Brown and Hartley - totally different players in my opinion.

I think it is, or at least should be a choice between Brown and Robson to partner Hartley at the moment. I'd say Brown is probably a better player but Robson has been brilliant last two games and so we should stick with him in the short term.

Hartley offers us something we've missed since Lenny left, namely someone that will throw a boot in, get in the faces of attackers and someone that'll track runs as he showed a few times last night, most obviously with the Darcheville run to the by-line before taking the ball off him. If that had been Brown he'd have dived in and probably gave a penalty away...if he'd been arsed to track back that is. Hartley made himself known from the start and even after getting booked he had a nice wee kick at Bawwy..just to let him know he was still there :icon_mrgreen:

Robson's a great player, I'm really impressed by him. Knows exactly when to get back and graft but he's really good with the ball at his feet going forward too and his dead balls are wicked. We got a bargain with him. Love the way he clattered Dailly early on...shows the opponents that we were right up for it and weren't gonna be bullied. When that elbow went in I thought...bet that was Lenny to Robson right before the game...make your first tackle a right * hard one..let the * know you're their and not gonna disappear.

I wouldn't play Brown again this season unless we really have to. He's far too indisciplined and this is a time when we need a tight, organised midfield.

Defo, as much as I want Scott Brown to turn into the player we payed for, why should we change a winning team? If he gets back into the team it should be on merit, which it hasn't been down to as of late. Robson did get caught on the ball a few times last night but at the moment i'd still put him ahead of brown.

Hopefully Lennon gives him a kick up the *, which I fully expect him to do.

Everytime the Camera went on Lennon last night you could tell he was chokin to get out there and start some * :56:

Hopefully, losing his place because of his own stupidity (getting suspended), seeing how Robson and Hartley click by communicating and playing as a partnership, see the adulation of the fans when we win against the Huns etc will be the boot up the jacksie that Skoosh needs.

No doubt he has the talent but being a Celtic player ain't all about talent, its desire and attitude.

For the time being Zico and the ginja ninja for me!!

Do we really care if he is unhappy? Next time he does get a chance he better prove himself or I will personally drive him to Newcastle.

Would also cut his £28,000 off the wage bill. I have no doubt he will be a rangers player within 3 or 4 years if not sooner.

Don't know about that. If he wanted to, he could've been one already. The suspension should deal with his complacency. Still have high hopes for Sno too.

I couldn't give a * if Brown is unhappy if he doesn't start, he can play for a place like everyone else. Fact is, he's been *, and Hartley and Robson are surely the central pairing for the forseeable future.

Sno? I have high hopes of selling him.

He wanted to be one, but the package he was offered at celtic was too hard to resist. Plus he wanted to win trophies and must have thought that rangers team would go years without winning anything on the back of le guen. I think if he could go back he would take rangers over celtic. Thats where his heart is.

What a performance from Robson & Hartley - their composure on the ball was unreal. "Composure" being a key word for Scott Brown as he hasn't got a clue what it means. "Positioning" as well he needs to learn about.

This partnership should be there for the rest of the season and that will give Brown plenty time to think about his contribution and how he can improve.

I've never been his biggest fan so woul happily let him go in the summer for anything more than £2 million to be honest.

Although Robson was fantastic, we NEEDED another striker and NEEDED to sacrifice a midfielder...

    McGeady - No brainer
Nakamura - Basically scored 2 wonder goals
Hartley - We needed his defensive awareness especially as we were just about to drop to 3 man midfield.

All our midfielders were superb and I think Strachan made the right choice - justified by the result :D

Aye i'd agree with that.Credit where it's due..Keeping Hartley on allowed Mick and especially Caldwell to get forward more..Robson did what no other midfielder has done this season: clatter a hun early and set the tone... I'd like to see Hartley and Robson finish the season together. They both have their deficiencies, but what they can do, they do well
Robson did in last nights game what we've been expecting from Brown in every game he's played and still haven't really seen

i think if the team is doing well with who played the winning formula shouldnt be changed until it needs to. and its shown this season that a lack of a steady midfield has basically * our season.

no1 should be above being dropped if there playing *. and maybe a while on the bench will make brown try harder and be the good player which i think he will turn out to be.
