Although I agree with the OP he is probably being rated higher than he should be on 1 season he isn't a headless chicken with no direction.
If he added goals to his game he'd be a top drawer midfielder. The same could be said for our entire midfield however. -

Sell: Donati, Flood, Hartley, Balde, SAMARAS(please * he must go), Doumbe (good player but no need for 4 RB's), Killen.
