I'm all for the lad bein given a chance but at the same time ever since he was brought into the pitch when we signed him I've felt his attitude stunk.

Still think he would have been better at the back than Efe

 

He was never going to be good enough to make it here in my opinion. He looked a good enough player in the Championship, but he is a average SPL level player in my opinion. It gets another player who is surplus to requirements out our bloated squad as well. Truth be told, he should never have been signed in the first place.

 

We have had players who have done a lot more and have left the club much less liked. And this confuses me a bit.
He didnt make the grade at West Brom, so its no real surprise he, thus far, hasnt done it here.

 

Any time he's played I've been really impressed. Bizarre that he's never been given a chance, especially since Brendan said he was in his plans only a few weeks ago.

 

Really? I've yet to see him have a good game for Celtic, even as a sub. Couple of neat passes and nothing else. For me he's blatantly not good enough for Celtic, I don't know what people are seeing.

 

Because he's not good enough? He can provide some positives in short bursts, but that's Deila and now Rodgers who haven't seen this potential maverick who can pass the ball like Zidane that a few folk on here think he is.

Hopefully he's more successful down south this time than he was last time.

I agree with all of this^. What * me off is that even when he played well he didnt get a shot. Guys like Armstrong and Johansen always ahead of him in the pecking order even after he had strong games against Ajax and Hamilton. I hope for his sake he moves on, gets game time, and shows us week in, week out what we could have seen if we gave him a fair shot. If he's the first midfielder to go, then guys like Armstrong and Johansen should follow closely out the door.

Possibly but he did have intentions of securing the best footballers in our country. They just happen to not be good enough.

Although some see it as a get.it up.ye huns singing, how do we know it wasn't a "sign Scott Allan to weaken the huns compitition to get the new team in the league to increase revenue"
