What do you mean IF it doesn't?

McGeady will be called all the usual *, taig *. If you think otherwise you are delusional.

You will be furious if he scores the winning goal.

Several of my best mates are huns, thanks. I wouldn't change them for anyone. And yeah I've stood shoulder to shoulder with them supporting Scotland.

If Scotland were playing them would Paton be booed and abused?

Just like a Liverpool fan stands shoulder to shoulder with a Chelsea fan that mocks Hillsborough, at an England game or a Napoli fan stands shoulder to shoulder with a Juventino who hopes Vesuvius blows it's top, at an Italy game.

    That's fitba.

To be honest mate, this plays a big part for me. I was never really brought up to really bother about Scotland in regards to International Football anyway, but I've always said exactly what you just said.

The Tartan army have form for calling Celtic players * * and booing. Don't be surprised if your hun mates start screaming bigotry at McGeady.

Listen Timmy less of your nonsense here. Scotland is fine and dandy with every culture and race.:rolleyes:

To suggest that the booing of McCarthy and McGeady is solely down to them making the choice to play for Ireland is false. Some people will boo for that reason and others will boo because people are booing. Let's not kid on that the abuse they suffered in Scotland had not one hint of the Irish background.

I'll be very surprised if they start shouting bigoted stuff at him.

I'd love to place a traffic cone, pointy end first, right up that * McQueen's *, then fill it with hot tar.

    He's a * eejit.

I don't think they would be singled out. Compare the reaction they two have gotten compared with McGeady and McCarthy in grounds throughout Scotland. I fully expect the excuse about if they had been better then they would have been singled out and received the same abuse to come out here.

    Do they?

I've always understood that many Liverpool supporters have very little interest in following England, largely because they don't won't to associate with the 'Chelsea-types'. It's also one of the reasons why historically Celtic supporters have not made up a significant portion of Scotland's crowds.

I'd also have to disagree with you that singing songs about child abuse, '* off home because famines are over' and songs mocking the Hillsborough disaster and the like as being part of football!

I know there are many Celtic supporters that have and do feel the same as yourself, and I completely understand why.

No one club's fans make up a significant portion of national supporters.

Put it this way, I've been invited over to Dublin for the game next year by people I know from Dublin, and the tickets will more than likely be in Ireland end. I personally see that as more of a home end for myself. Always felt like that.

"Incites racial hatred", what a load of * they will be booed as they are playing against Scotland and are therefore *. Just like Broony will be booed when he gives Aiden the good news in the first 2 minutes, although I guess, he will then be anti Irish and be accused of inciting racial hatred as well :smiley-laughing002::56:

    Who said they did?

All I said was that Celtic supporters have not traditionally followed the Scottish national team, and certainly never in significant numbers, and there are clearly justifiable reasons for that.

The HFA are a corrupt anti-Celtic organisation, always have been.

Most Celtic fans already hate the HFA so i have no need to incite hatred upon them.

No, you just decided there that Maloney is Scottish. I entirely agree that he considers himself Scottish and you may want to stop people from feeling more connection to the land that there family originally came from than the land they were born in or the land that they were raised in but other peoples feelings on their nationalities? It's * all to do with us, so people can take their petty judgement elsewhere.
