    A man was injured following a fall within Celtic Park Football Stadium at the Ireland-Scotland European Qualifier this evening.

    The 22-year-old male fell from a stand within the park, police in Scotland confirmed to Independent.ie.

    "Police in Scotland can confirm that a 22-year-old male was injured following a fall within Celtic Park Football Stadium during this evening’s European Championship qualifier match," the police said.

    "He is currently en route to hospital in Glasgow.”

    Police refused to comment on the nationality of the fan, but it is believed he is Scottish.

    Seems to be Scottish people getting raging when another Scot says something as a wind up against the Irish and an Irish yin getting annoyed at another Irish yin for saying something to wind up scots :smiley-laughing002:.

    He was taken to hospital by ambulance from the Celtic ground, although his condition was not known.
    There were unconfirmed reports on Twitter that a fan had died.


    Hopefully just twitter exaggerations

    Police were unable to confirm the severity of the man's injuries.
    A Scottish FA spokesman said they were unable to give any further details.

    Just happy my country won a big match and always makes it a bit sweeter seeing the opposition hurting :icon_mrgreen:.
