I was just asking if he was. I meant nothing by it. I've always thought football fans just claim that the association of their country is ran by fans of the other team.

And the SFA represents the whole of Scottish football (as I'm sure you know) from under 8's kicking a ball about in their local park to the SPL. It's quite the claim to make. Some people could make quite a lot of assumptions from what he claimed.

Are you angry or upset with Kris Commons, Morrison and Shaun Maloney or how do you feel about Andy Goram who is in the HFA hall of fame?

    No, why would I be?

Would you have been angry at Robbie and Roy Keane had they decided to represent Scotland?

Yes they can. Of course they can. There have been plenty of scientific studies that have been fudged, * up, loaded, completely wrong intentionally and unintentionally.

So people like Goram are fine but you are angry and upset at McGeady and McCarthy?

I think its up to the person to decide themselves. So no.

Yes that's the hypocrisy of football fans.

Then you're argument is redundant. You know it exists, you know that a percentage of this country hates James McCarthy and Aiden McGeady for there choice (for entirely non-footballing reasons).

I only know 2 Huns that don't follow Scotland, I only know about 2 Huns that don't have that sort of hatred flow through them.

Surely a Scotland fan would be upset because they are two players who are Scottish, but who we don't have?

Well that's different from what you initially said.

Is there anything about these studies, carried out by regarded academics, and endorsed by their peers, into the reasons why Celtic supporters have traditionally not felt 'Scottish' or followed the Scottish national team, which will lead you to believe that they have been 'fudged', '* up', 'loaded', 'completely wrong intentionally and unintentionally'?

Yea yea the whole country is bigoted, i get it now.

I am not "ignoring the ills" of Scotland but its not as bad as is being made out either ie half the country and more.
I have no problem with anyone who boo's them, provided its not because of religion.

I'm not questioning the integrity of the person who ran the study. I just find it funny when people use studies like that as proof as they rarely give a true reflection of the question they ask.

I think moaning about players who have chosen to play for a country other than their place of birth, but supporting players who have done likewise simply because they play for the country that person supports is very hypocritical.

Which is probably how the majority will feel. Granted, there will be a minority who give them grief for religious reasons, and they should be dealt with accordingly.
