    I was at that game earlier this decade, i think it was 05' or something like that. My dads american and I went with him, we sat at the Scotland end. when usa scored me and my dad clapped, and when scotland scored we cheered. i like how two nations can bond together.

    also who do you think will win the tournement we play each other in...I think Scotland but I have a feeling some country like Wales will * it

    Aye my fathers American tae (albeit a Vietnam vet/migrant) so i have an afection for them so like you i'd applaud them at moments of good football/goals ect and be more vocal for the Scotland team.. either way it'll be a win win for me lol but you know how it is.

    Do you mean the home nations tourny that's starting up soon? (if it still is/canny mind) probably Scotland but it'll be a right tight yin in all honesty..we are all of the same level probably.

    Ireland against another country? I'd probably say Ireland. A country and people I've got a soft spot for.

    I take little to no interest in international football but if I was pushed it would be Scotland because they had more Celtic players on show. I'd be sitting hoping none of them get injured tbh, my allegiance is purely with Celtic.

    i think it would be better if this poll was for Irish and Scottish members
    and people voted for either:

    my country
    not my country

    just an idea.... this poll that is currently ongoing doesnt really mean anything!!

    exactaly, and being Irish im always going to choose Ireland! However, i do like to see Scotland and and wales (celtic nations) do well also!

    i only made this poll to see if there were people on here that if they were scottish, they wanted to see ireland win and vice versa. I was screaming on Ireland to beat france. But if Ireland had to beat Scotland to go through to a major competition i would hope they get the win, i know the irish would want the same if scotland were the ones who needed to go through

    I support Celtic and thats all ,never have supported Scotland and im not inclined to do so and i dont support Ireland either.

    LIke Kenny above says. But I tried supporting Scotland when young. but finished up walking out of a game cause the * inbreds were booing the Celtic players.
    I am not a bitter man. But I will support Ireland every time cause I can't side with arsholes.
    Us old ones have seen it all, haven't we Kenny. :56:

    Scotland every time. Got a mate who "hates" Scotland so he supports Ireland, bit of a fud i think. If it was Scotland vs Ireland for a world cup spot, and McFadden had used his hand to score, i wouldn't have really bothered at the time.
