    Celtic would Beat city hands down every time we played them, Underdogs do well in the champions league do they ?? at least we are in the champions league to be the underdogs in. Celtic didnt get taken over by a crazed businessman and money get thrown about like paper. We work hard for out to buy new player, we earn them unlike SOME teams

    City would murder us? HAHA.

    Guess we will never find out though cos you wont ever get into the Champs League.

    We must be some underdogs - we have one of the best home records in Europe in the Champs Lge. Milan, Juve, Man Utd, Barca, Porto, Benfica, Shaktar, Lyon etc etc etc etc

    no chance at all. your best player wouldnt get in our reserves. and most teams in the premiership have been taken over, and they are all throwing money about. we didnt ask for players like elano or jo. but we may pay a lot of money for good players. but we have a great youth academy who still develop some top english talent eg johnson, richards, sturrudge, onouha, shaun wright phillips, barton (even though i hate him), ched evans (welsh). we paid only for richards out of them and that was at the age of 14 or so.
    fair enough thaksin is a bit of a loon. but the only way to progress is to get a foreign owner its the way football is going. unless your in the spl were football is still as bad as it was 5, 10 years ago.

    If City came up to the SPL, you would be about £30M out of pocket each season because of the TV rights revenue, your Thai Dictator would have bank roll you lot even more. We dont run at the debts like the middle clubs in the EPL do

    You let us down to the EPL (never going to happen) we get £30M to spend extra before we even do anything else to exploit playing in a better league (several things we could do in that scenario). We would roast City both ways and most of the EPL if given the extra financial fire power.

    Oh, You beat United twice in how many years??, end of discussion.

    Lafferty will flop, Samaras aint great, wont even be a starter for Celtic but for 1+1M he'll be worth it. Pearce and Sven never got the best out of what they had at their disposal, never.

    the only reason we cant get in the champions league is because were not in a crap league playing teams like motherwell etc. if we were in that league we would finish first and get in it. but because we play GOOD teams we dont. and are a mid table pushing for uefa cup in the best league in the world.

    The only reason you cant get into the CL is because you cant beat teams like Portsmouth, Blackburn, Villa etc.
