[Link] Samaras for Caneira

Samaras plays good as a lone striker like he did v the current buns. Doesn't play good consistently in any other formation and in the SPL i wouldn't like to see us play 4-5-1 against teams we should be attacking from the start. Sell him on and get someone in thats more suited to our style I say.

 

I would say we play 4-2-3-1 as we have a guy just off the striker. This is misconcieved as a defensive formation. Germany used it in the world cup and scored the most goals in the tournament. We use it in a very similar style as the two lads in centre mid are box-to-box midfielders instead of defensive ones. I would like us to keep using this as it also makes us harder to break down so we dont have to adjust formation for when we play in Europe!
