Yep, super result although my nails are rather short - it was a game of 5 minutes us, 5 minutes them and it was all about who broke that deadlock first - fortunately it was us and as soon as the goal went in it became plain sailing.

Few incidents surrounding the game - after the first goal a couple of our fans chucked a flare into a Rostock stand, leading to a 5 minute stop in play.

Aftter the second our scorer Denisz Naki ran towards the Hansa fans doing a 'cut throat' gesture, which didn't go down well, and then at the final whistle a Pauli flag and totenkopf were draped out on the pitch, which riled the Rostock Nazis some what.

Didn't hear of any trouble from our fans after the game, but predictably there was a clash between around 500 Rostockers and the Polizei. There has been a LOT of trouble lately with hooligans in that part of the country, I think i heard that not a single game passed off in the state this weekend without incident.

So...another win at the weekend against my hometown (Dusseldorf) and we are in third place, thanks to Union Berlins loss yesterday against KSC.

    Looking good for Pauli :)

    3-0 FT

Great result against a good team.

And with the top two playing tomorrow night, anything but an away win for Arminia puts Pauli 2nd in the table. Happy days. :50:

And Arminia (3rd place team) lost again last night - that's three defeats on the bounce.

Just got to keep this good run going. :50:

It's a shame 'lautern got that late winner against Hansa, otherwise we'd be withing 2 points of the top. Still tho, not complaining!

Why base a relationship between two clubs just because of how successful a club is?

The Celtic Sankt Pauli relationship has been in place for years between the fans,
