Anyone who still backs mobray is clearly deluded, its not too late for the title but under mowbray we dont have a hope. PAUL LAMBERT!, he's turned norwich's season around and could do the same for us

Exactly. Also sacking the manager will only cause more problems, deal with it until the end of the season & then we'll see if TM should be sacked.

I think the sad aspect is Mogga could have won the league and also built his own team. However, he has tried to change the players too quick and at a point when we were on a good run but well behind he has really made major changes. That was too much of a gamble IMO and he has lost. The team that went on the long good run pre-window was good enough to win the league if we had just added a great striker and CB. We shouldnt have let Caldwell and Robson go. They were first picks and the 2 leaders in the team that did the great run pre-window and they were also vital in the fight back in 3 in a row. Look at the result-total rookie CBs in the last few games. Thought this was a night for the battlers who can handle the bullies like Robson too. I dont know if it was Mogga or Lawell who punted those two but I think we have gained 2 million in exchange for the title and CL football next season. I sense idealism has crept in and that always has cost us in the past. The SPL is a physical league that is often not won by the prettiest football. I am not sure Mogga knows or cares. But, hey, he careful what you wish for. A lot of you wanted rid of the winning machine that WGS was in exchange for a Celtic man playing the Celtic way. Well we have that now.

Its not TM who misses chance after chance. How do you think he must feel working with inconsistent players.
And as for someone shouting for Lambert. What has he done at the level that is expected of a Celtic manager ?
As the man said take the defeat on the chin and hurt in secret.

I want him out, never thought he was the right choice. Think the job is far to big for him, you can tell by his body language he is not happy/ Even Guidi on the radio said the same. and he said even if he won the leauge he could walk anyway. Do us a favour Tony and go now, and i will still think the same after a win at Hamilton on Satuarday. (if we win)

People always said only reason Strachan won the league is he got lucky, up against the worst Rangers team in years, well that rangers team have not bought a player in nearly 2 seasons.

12 wins out of 21 spl games
out of 2 cups in Europe
    out of League cup.

Paul Le guen and John Barnes got sacked for less.

As I said in another forum before it closed this guy is spending money and making us worse how is this possible? Everyone says give him time he is destroying our home record and more so our club. I never wanted the guy but every fan i spoke to before the season said but look what he did at hibs but what did he actually do? Nothing! He built a team that played good football but never actually did *! Anyone see a pattern here? even when he got West Brom up they lost something like 13 games which in a 46 game season is fine to get you promoted. As for fortune and samaras theyb are both fantastic football players but as goalscorers they just cant cut it and surely a manager that cost 2m in compo should know what position to play them? I laughed at someone the other day who said mogga was acting like a football manager gamer getting rid of lots of players and bringing in lots of players really quickly wow cant mind who it was but well done sir I tip my hat to you lol<!-- / message -->

I reckon the Celtic Board should sack Mowbray now. His appalling record is even worse than that of John Barnes. :31:

    Barnes

    Pl 20 W13 D2 L5 Pts 42

    Mowbray

    Pl 21 W12 D5 L4 Pts 41

10 points behind the Huns and 17 goals behind one of the worst hun teams in many a decade

We have played 21 league games this season and won 12, and we've only played the huns twice in that timeframe. And not beaten them once. We have also been pumped in all other tourneys we have played in. That is woeful.

The manager also looks utterly clueless and totally devoid of any idea.

I'm not normally one for reactions like this, but imho Mowbray should go now, his record is abysmal.

All this against a backdrop of a bankrupt Huns slowly getting into a financial crisis where they haven't signed a player since the summer 2009 transfer window, and yet they are sitting ten points above us in the league. Jesus H Christ !. It's totally unacceptable. :31:

The Board must act now and sack Mowbray, and get a decent manager in who can try fix the mess Mowbray has got us in, and attempt to salvage the league.

Mogga will stay, he seems to be building a team & that takes time. Samaras has no consistancy & i still say we need an out & out striker, which i think will come.
The scum still have it all to do.

United we stand and divided we fall.

Your spin of events sound like the Daily Ranger. You have no evidence that Mowbray is being forced to sell. Mowbray actually claimed responsibility for wanting to discuss selling Fox with Burnley.

St. Ledger is good but not for the amount they want, he isnt a buy at whatever cost sort of player. Far from it.

Nobody loans a player for free, there is always a cost involved whether the papers tell you about it or not.

If Mowbray is such a great man, two hands behind his back, why is he starting Samaras regularly?

Crosas, Hinkel, McGinn & Boruc are Strachan signings, why not have a go at all these guys. They all must be wanting Celtic to fail!! :87:

Dont fall to pieces just yet, its still JANUARY

His problem is motivation and organization:-

    - The team doesn't seem very motivated. He doesn't come across as very passionate, and he looks * terrified whenever the camera shows a clip of him on the touchline.

    - The team lacks organization in a sense that there's not really a 'first team', we seem to play a different line up each week and no one seems to know their roles. The players need to develop a football relationship with each other which doesn't seem to be showing.

Dempsey, i normally think your comments are decent and i regularly agree with them, but here. you say i should take defeat on the chin?? nah. done that far too much, if you look back, i have never wanted Mogga out after a game, i have never wanted strachan out after a loss either. BUT. Here.. Mowbray has broken celtic. Should i take defeat on the chin week in, week out..? because that's where we're headed, we're headed for 3rd spot next season if we don't * sort this out.
as for samaras. I have pretty much always had the same opinion on him. complete *.

i have been saying this for awhile. not because i dont like TM or beacuse i think hes an idiot or whatever, strictly because i dont feel he can handle the pressure of managing such a club and he just is not the right man for the job its that simple. yea i know he deserves more time, but how long can you give him before we start to say enough is enough? was this loss the final straw??? i cant see this squad getting any better and our future doesnt look bright at all as i feel the direction he is taking the team is south

I am not comparing TM to Lambert, but I
personaly doubt that Lambert would be any better than what we have at present.

Managing Celtic has always been a special job in football and unless TM is given enough time to grow with his team how can he prove that he is not worthy of that position.
He is who we have and should be supported for at least longer than half a season.

Is there any way that we can stop ryan1984 from making comments? Way to be Celtic through and through. I will back whoever is our manager and whoever is wearing our Hoops.

he has no had the chance tae play a full strength team yit and you want him sacked?

i will judge him when he has every player at his disposal..not half a team like just now
