Him and Eddy have been the most annoying and biggest * ups this season. Tbf to Christie though, unlike Eddy, he actually is just *. Never Celtic class

Norwich City and Burnley want Scotland midfielder Ryan Christie, with the 26-year-old set to become the first Celtic departure of a summer of transition at the club. (Daily Mail, print edition)

    Superstar.

I want him out as much as the next guy but we need to maximise the fee as much as possible. It’s not impossible to get Armstrong sort of money for him. That’s 2 decent players to add to the squad. But aye, cheerio.

Hoping we get above £5m for him. There's a player in there but he definitely needs to move on. He was one of my favourite players at one point, but I can't wait to see the back of him now.

He's worse than a winger for being inconsistent, which ironically enough, that's where we have sometimes played him. :56:.

    * chucked it months ago. *.

If he goes, good luck to him.

Still a player in there but like many, this season he's been honking.

Hardly anyone gets pass marks this season. Christie and Edouard have been singled out more than anyone when nobody around them is much better.

The last couple of seasons people have praising him highly and talking about huge valuations. He is a good player that's playing for a team totally out of sorts.

Our own fans aren't helping with transfer fees when they are spending so much time bad mouthing the players.

I don't think Christie gave less effort this season. Challenges we had with formation and players who lacked discipline (e.g. full backs who would not defend and took our midfield and often striker(s) out the game!) as well as too many players not performing - mean our team as a whole was way below the level needed to win enough games. Up to this season he has been a strong player for us and was not the worst player this year by any stretch

Christie perhaps sees himself as a maverick who can just roam about doing his thing.

If he goes to the championship down south never mind the prem, he'll get found out easy enough and perma benched and back up to Scotland playing under Brown at Aberdeen

To paraphrase a quote from Turnbull, "Lennon told me to shoot at every opportunity". So, if Lennon told Turnbull to do that, then it's obvious he told Christie the same thing.

Christie is a very creative player. He has some amount of assists to his name, and, based on his position, that should be his main focus. So many good attacking positions have been squandered by him taking a shot, when an assist was on. If he gets proper guidance other than "shoot on sight" then he'll do well here or elsewhere. Like Armstrong, I think we'll regret letting him leave.

But, saying that, I think he should go, along with Eddy. We shouldn't keep them in the hope they'll change. Especially if they want to leave.
