This season he seems to have been played on the wing or up front and it has made * all sense. The usual Lennon shoe horn is the only real reason.

That would have been when we had a lot of midfielders our, including brown.
Christie and McGregor played in middle together and we looked a lot better for it (as is often the case).
Since then it's been a weird effort to always get those three in a team together instead of dropping one - brown.

He's in for a shock at his potential Summer suitors, high end Championship is my guess, honestly can't see an EPL side being interested, lucky to get £5M for him

Him and bitton are worst offenders for passing ball straight to opposing players

I don't get the level of criticism Christie gets. he has been dropped fair enough, he came on last night late in the game and made a reasonable contribution - he certainly didn't miss every pass or do nothing.

Great, creative player at times who can change a game, but is inconsistent too often. Like a lot of the players over the past few months, he looks detached and indifferent. When he came on yesterday he was running about like a fairy and not doing anything productive with the ball at all. Plus, he was still taking a lot of overly adventurous shots from 20-30 yards out and getting absolutely nowhere with his efforts (you’re not Ronaldo, pal!). I was really * frustrated with him yesterday, shouting at the telly every time he was on the ball.

Another one that would have been away at the start of the season if he'd had his way. Too many players not committed to playing for Celtic, we were doomed from the start.

He’s a big headed * who can go to Burnley or Southampton to top up his millionaire status.

He runs about like the guy who was the best player at under 13’s-15’s. His positional awareness is shocking. He’s a shitebag. He doesn’t follow the man he just gave the * ball to. He left Frimpong cruelly exposed too many times to mention. He’s been agitating for a move so he can * off and go cry when representing the football association that colluded with and advocated the criminal cheating of the club and supporters who pay his wages!

Why keep selecting a player who doesn't want to be here then? He should have been dropped early on, but has been a regular starter.

There is no doubt Christie is annoying, his flicks, his constant shooting off target. His use of the ball sometimes is baffling even to the extent of just being a greedy *. But there is a player there. He has constantly been played out of position by Lennon, trying to make him into a right winger to cover for Forest. Christie is looking to get away because of Lennon, he has not reached his potential, another player who has had their development put on hold. Under Rodgers he suddenly came from no where after a loan to the sheep. With a year or more left on his contract Christie will be waiting to see who the manager is for next season before making any descision on his future.
