    Beat by the better side, competed for a half and couldn’t keep it up in the second.

    I don’t watch much rugby but know this is a perpetual argument - I thought Finn Russell caused his own team more problems than provided solutions. When it comes off for him he’s world class but when it doesn’t (normally against the best sides) it just turns over easy possession to teams that punish you. He halted Scotlands momentum several times today.

    Not massively in to rugby but watching it cos no football obviously. Uruguay getting the first try against France, quite unexpected. Prob go the way the Ireland game went when Romania took the lead against them though.

    Yes France get the win as expected although not by the big blowout margin with a final of 27-12. Having said that they already have beaten New Zealand so most likely pacing themselves knowing that winning their group is very much on the cards.

    Watched the first half of the chile game, fair dues no mugs and had a right go again. Watching Portugal now and they are holding their own against wales. Really enjoying watching these so called minnows, they try and have a go, can only be good for the game strengthening worldwide imho.

    There’s always a team everyone falls in love with. It was Japan last time, now Fiji. They have everything you want in a Rugby team and performances.

    And they are pragmatic when they need to be. Take the points when you can, increase the pressure on your opponent. Top notch!
