    Celtic make move for Keane

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan wants to speak to Roy Keane about a possible move to the Glasgow club.
Keane, 34, has been linked with a host of British and European clubs since he left United on 18 November.
Strachan said: "Last week we made it clear if Roy would like to speak to us we'd be only too happy to do so - I fully support that statement."
Meanwhile on Sunday Teddy Sheringham urged his former Manchester United team-mate to join him at West Ham.
"I would love Roy Keane here at West Ham. He's a fantastic footballer and would improve our team tenfold," Sheringham told the News of the World.
"He has two years left at the top. I'd be surprised if he goes to Celtic." Sheringham added: "He's far too good to go up into the Scottish League. It would be a waste of an amazing talent. "I actually think he might surprise us all and join a club in the top five or six - and if he does he will push them up into Europe.

if he does come he'll find it hard to get into the first 11 and the only way he'll get a game is if theres more injuries

http://ad.uk.doubleclick.net/ad/rte_sport.ie/;sz=200x200;ord=123456789? He said: "Last week we made it clear that if at any time Roy would like to speak to us about his future and Celtic's we would be only too happy to speak to him and I fully support that statement.
"The board and I had discussed exactly what to say about the situation and I agree with the others"

no where in the above statement does gs say he wants to talk to roy keane :52: :52:

if keane gets in touch with celtic then out of common courtesy celtic would see what he has to say :87:

then hopefully tell him to * off :37:

he could have came to celtic b4 he signed his last deal at man u and gave us a reasonable return for his wages not now he is * past it :31:

i think GS should be talking to petrov rather than keane. what must stan be thinking if they sign an ageing midfielder on more cash than him?

totally agree my friend lets look to the future not to a player who is past his best and living on a reputation of years gone by :50:
