  3. Re: do you think roy keane will come to celtic

i think Lenny wants 2 extend his contract another year!! Yes please wee Gordon strachen, all i want for Christmas is Lenny!! so if he stays that will b nice!!! (i no u all think he's past it, but hes great and we all no he's never been a sprinter or a contender for the golden boot!!!)

  4. Re: do you think roy keane will come to celtic

i think keane will be a bit past it when and if he eventually comes to celtic but bothered, i still want to see him in a one on one with fergushun and we all know who would win that battle :50:

  5. Keane to Celtic

It is rumored that Roy Keane ( from Man Utd ) . Has been asked to sign a new contracted for man utd . but he has refuesed and Wants to finish his footballing life at Celtic . So I would like to here what you have to say about this and if he was to come who would get droped and who would stay?

Personaly I think If lennon is still a Celtic player, He should be in the team . If lennon was to get dropped i would be very upset. When we were watching the Falkirk game , We were talking about this and my fellow hoops said that they would drop lennon . So what do you think??

    :shamrock: True Bhoy :shamrock:

  6. I personally don't want Roy Keane anywhere near the club even more so after his recent outburst condemning his own players. If he was to come I can't think of anyone I would drop for him and that would then ask the question of why he would be there in the first place. Stay well clear of him IMO.

I wouldnae mind signing him for one old firm game right enough though!!

  7. past it. no room for old tired legs. sorry roy, if you wanted to finish your career at celtic you should have came when you had something to offer us. we won't take you just because your a "life long" fan

  8. I don't want him, he's a fine player but he's a trouble-maker and would probably get sent off in the first minute of an Old Firm game! I should know he's always up to no good – he was born on the exactly same day as me (wonder who popped out first?) and I'm always up to no good as u know :84:

  9. where do i have to sign?

  10. Keane wth, for what want you a grandpa??? He is good over 30 I think.

  11. I would play lennon in certain games but he doesn't offer enough going gorward especialy at home. He's not needed to break up moves against teams with 10 men behind the ball and a creative player would be more benificial.

Keane i feel is past it and would add nothing to the squad playing wise. If we could get him for a season on low wages i'm sure he'd be good for merchandising stuff though?.

  12. Na wuldnt entertain him at all, maybe years a go when he could hav offered sumthin 2 the team

  13. Blah! Blah! Blah!............I thought we had already covered this in several other threads in the past 4 weeks????

neil lennon was * fantastic against falkirk, he must of been availble for every single celtic player on the park to take the ball of them, he must of made 100 passes and not one of them went astray, he might be in his last season but keane is not the answer to his replacement.

Look at the * he's stirred at utd.............NO THANKS

  14. i think he could give something to the club he may me old but hes still good! however he is a bit of a troublemaker and spends half the time injured anyways

  15. no offence to all keane fans i would hate to see him here alls he wants is a penson the only keane i would like to see is the keane in London ..

  16. the only reason keane would come here is for the money

  17. Roy Keane was dead right to slate everyone that played badly in the Boro game. If we lost to anyone in the SPL playing like they did that day. I would expect someone to stand up(player, cos all the fans would be slamming the players) and say who needs to pull their socks up. Keane didnt use the PC bullshit used to critisise performances, he said what he and the fans were thinking, if they couldn't accept that their captain and fans weren't happy about their performance in a 4-1 thumping to a mediocre team then they shouldnt be at the club.

All the Man U fans think Keane was dead right because they are sick of the poor performances and under performing, over paid, over rated players. We have the same expectations as the Man U fans

It be worse if people said nothing and accepted that level of performance from a side expecting to challenge for a league title. We wouldn't, Keane doesnt and I'd love to see him at Celtic. People here are judging keane on his age, not his performances.

  18. I don't think it's possible to have good team harmony if a player and probably worse the club captain comes out and slates his own team mates in the manner that has been reported. He did the same with the Ireland squad on the biggest stage in football and i still find it amazing he was allowed to play in another international.

Another thing is it's hard to judge him on appearances when he has spent so much time on the treatment table another sign of old age being a factor that over rides his ability.

  19. keane is still badly missed at utd when he's out, just because he's older doesn't mean he wouldn't do a great job for us. i'm definitely one for the 'keane to celtic' club.
