Think you'll find one of the best attacking midfielders also! A true box to box midfielder.

However my mates are always shocked when I call him a *, firstly for turning his back on Ireland and secondly for ruining some guys career over nothing. He's also up his own *...

Oh and decided to spend his retirement playing half a season for us while earning shitloads. Who knows where that wages came from... Aye thanks a lot Mr Keane but if you were as big a fan as you say you were you woulda been first in line to Parkhead after your Nottingham Forest days...

His perfomance at Ibrox was fantastic.

Keane and Lennon made Barry Ferguson look like a lost little boy that day.

Ferguson should have been proud to be on the same park as him, absolute universes apart in footballing terms.

He's neither. He's a Man U legend and I wouldn't call him a chancer because he played well when he was here. I wish he had stayed for one season more though.

Neither. Nobody who only plays half a year can be a legend. But he did put in some good performances for us and played an important part in us winning the title in 2006.

He could have went to any of the worlds top top clubs, but chose Celtic, that's special.

He's not a Celtic legend in the same way as Henrik or Jinky, but He's a legend for choosing Celtic over teams like Juventus and Real Madrid.

Just proves Money isn't everything, plus he put Barry Ferguson in his place at one of the OF games.

He could of stayed for one more season and got paid every week while sitting in the stands because his Knees were gone. Instead he retired and saved Celtic a lot of money.

That is pretty close to the truth.

The guy played for us for peanuts, simply because he wanted to play for us.

I remember him strolling through the game at Ipox and just oozing class, even at 34/35 years old.

The guy is not a Celtic legend, but is definitely a footballing legend.
You don't stay in Fergies team for so many years unless you are quality

    Keano has my admiration

    I agree with this

I have a lot of respect for him as a player and as a manager, he comes across as a no bullshit type of guy who calls a spade a spade.

But if he was that much of a Celtic fan he would of came earlier and gave us more than half a season.

everytime i think of keane there is a good opinion of him and a bad opinion of him. good one is he was a man u legend and agree with other ppl that he just wanted to say that he played in paradise. then theres the bad opinion of him. can always remember his debut at broadwood. what a sore one for every celtic fan that day getting beat off an * lot like clyde. and that was a legend on the park apparently.
