    They have three home games coming up before going to Man Utd and DUTD.

    Given it’s St Johnstone, Aberdeen and Fraserburgh they will be world beaters again with a £50m striker by the time they play Man Utd, get a draw there and be the best team in Europe ever to then go on and drop points at DUTD, want big Phil out again and question why they are so good in Europe but poor domestically.

    Rinse and repeat, they also have a tricky set of fixtures after that, well depending on who they get next in the Scottish Cup.

    Exactly, and the focus should now 100% be on CL progression. I’d expect teams to reflect that now given the heavy schedule we’ve had. Just makes sense really.

    CL progression doesn’t pivot solely on resting or not resting players though. He may very well not want disruption to a settled side for a period. Lot of variables, the last of which is what the knuckle dragging * are up to.

    We just need to do our stuff, win games and forget about the huns. Can you imagine the negativity in the smsm if we dropped points ? We would have cracked crests and Celtic in crisis headlines to help take the heat off the * show that is the huns. So, strongest team tomorrow and make the necessary changes if and when the game is comfortable

    It doesn’t, but I think it’s pretty evident that a lot of games have been take their toll. We haven’t been as bad as some are making out recently, but there’s definitely been more games where we look a bit jaded. The YB game will be our 4th game in 12 days starting tomorrow. Giving players a rest will also reduce the risk of them picking up an injury. The huns have got absolute dross to replace players when they rotate. We don’t, so it’s not the same. I’m not saying drop every player for tomorrow, but I would definitely be mixing the team up in the games leading up to the YB game.

    I see Rodgers is also now talking about the schedule in his latest interview and how gruelling it has been. Fully expect changes now based on that.
