depends i guess how bredan sees rosenbergs game plan

i think whatever formation we start with will be easily tinkered to change to a more attacking one if rosenberg dont play too many forward thinking players

dont know if i would go gung ho formation wise and then be put under the cosh by them over there

like imagine forrest playing as a fullback for a lot of the game, wouldnt want that to be the way of it

maybe we will play a straight 4 4 2 nah maybe more like 451 with dembele or eduoward upfront and sinclair and forrest on the wings with a mid 3 of brown ntcham and mgreggor yeah i think that will be it

 

I think last season when we played the over there. They didn't really attack us it seemed like they were hoping for a draw or maybe they were just scared to attack

 

Rosenborg won't be putting us under the cosh I dont think. They look a poor footballing outfit and all they really done the opening 15-20 minutes at Celtic Park was aim high balls towards Bendtner any time they had the chance of a counter then come pouring forward.

The previous round against that pish side from Iceland they scored 2 goals(both penalties) in 180+ minutes - I imagine in that tie they were the attacking team in possession for most of the tie so them being unable to score a goal from open play shows the kind of poor level of attacking play they are capable of.

I think the away leg will turn out the same as the home, us as the quality side will dominate posession and have them pinned in their own half and they will play on the counter.

I think rosenborg will start the better side, bit of momentum for them since they're at home, but after that we'll completely dominate. I'd go 2-0 us.

Hopefully we go out with the same drive and attacking mentality as we had in the second half on Wednesday. If we do, I can only see us winning quite comfortably again.

 

I have now gotten over how terrible Rosenborg played in the first game. I predicted a big loss before the game, and I actually think we should be really happy that the result wasnt even uglier for us. Celtic played well especially in the second half. And as I suspected Roseborg were not able to offer a lot attacking wise. That needs to change for wednesday, but I can't really see anyone in this team capable. Celtic of course major favourites now. 95-5 in your favour is not a stretch.

 

Rosenborg will try to attack and get an early goal. If they are capable of doing it in current state I am sceptical about. In the news the players have talked about not being as negative as last season this time around. They say that they learned that last year and wont do the same mistake again.
