I guess so! And your performance against Sunderland was very impressive. I assume that they fielded a good team at this point in pre-season as well.

It won't happen. Did you see their game against Dundalk? Last week was probably a 1 in 20 type performance for them. We'll dismantle them and wrap the tie up by half time. Remember 1 for us means they need 2. There is no doubt about us scoring. Can you see them scoring 2 against us?

Who do you think will start up front for you guys? Will bendtner play or Vilhjálmsson? The latter looks much more dangerous.

Ingebrigtsen will never dare to bench Bendtner even though he is absolute garbage. Vilhjalmsson might play in a different position, but ideally he should just replace the lazy dane. Rumours is that Helland is back. I am not sure if I want him in the starting line-up. He takes the defencive duties lightly. The upside with him though is great set pieces. No player in the squad can match him in that department.

Dundalk though last season went to Legia Warsaw and got a 1-1 draw, got a 1-1 draw at AZ Alkmaar and also lost 2-1 on both occasions narrowly against Zenit and Maccabi Tel Aviv respectively. They also beat Bate Borisov 3-0.

I don't think Dundalk are such a joke outfit that everyone seems to think they are.

Isn't hellend a RW? I thought the RW you guys played was one of your main threats on wedensday (jevtovic i think). Would be dumb to bench him even tho i rate hellend imo.

Dundalk are far from a joke outfit, I have seen enough of them over the past few years to know that, but they are also not the team that performed so brilliantly in Europe last season. They lost their star play Horgan and best defender Boyle to Preston, having the previous summer lost ex-Celtic Youngster and 25 goal midfielder to Brighton. It was just too much for them and having won three league titles in a row, have lost seven of 24 league games this season and are a country mile behind a rampant Cork City, who only lost their first game of the season tonight.
That isn't to say they didn't up there game in Europe and, in reality, should be playing Celtic if it wasn't for missed chances.
Like Dundalk, Rosenborg are playing a team from a level above them and have raised their game. They also have chances missed to mull over and I think they will eventually cost them.
I will keep saying it, no matter how obvious it is, the reason the stronger or seeded team gets through more times than not is taking the chances when they are presented. That is the difference between seeds at these stages, Rosenborg have had the advantage of match fitness and Celtic's misfortune with injuries, got a glorious chance to take a lead home and * it up. If you want to surprise a better ranked team you cannot miss those.

Yes. Been let down by Celtic too many times in Europe to not be nervous. Saying that, I think we will go through.

Got it in one, I'll add at the end that its the Brendan Rodgers effect that makes me think as much.
