Not confident at all for this one, they looked much sharper..

That big CB of theirs being out is a big bonus for us, he was solid throughout the game, no idea what his replacement will be like. I'm also hoping their manager benches the icelandic boy.

I'm pretty confident about Wednesday JC. Just thought the whole thing last week had a certain inevitablity about it with all the negativity and acrimony. Still huge issues to be worked out but yesterday was a big boost even down to Brendan joining in with the 10 in a row songs.

Rrally don't get why anyone suggests this. The guy got 29 goals in 206 games for Aberdeen, he's never a striker. No way would I have him in the starting XI for this game tbh, Forrest over him easily- but we shouldn't be in a position where those 2 guys are our only options.

Just hope we score first if we do they need to come out more and that will leave lots of space.

We really shouldn't be going out to a mob like this, they wouldn't finishes above Aberdeen in the Spfl.

We have went to Helsinki, Helsingborg, Maribor and Astana and came away with 2 wins and a 2 draw.

then I think to balance that out we got our arses handed to us at Karagandy, Hapoel, Legia and Malmo. Everyone of those games we where woeful.

Going to be a fraught night but I do think we will do it but could be walking about the house material like Hapoel last year.

Then we still have the playoff round hoping for a Maribor or Vardar surely to *!

Think our business in the transfer market will hinge on the CL qualification for me if we don't make it puts a dampener on the season before a domestic ball is even kicked in anger!

Yesterday definitely put some smile back on people's faces. Sunderland are * but its a squad which has had tens of millions spent on it and our largely second string side were miles in front. Fans were also unreal, non-stop singing.

Rather that than panic buy on crap, to be fair.

Hayes and Forrest should have enough to cause Rosenborg problems. Not ideal having them there starting but that is how it is for the moment.

I only suggest it on the basis if Griff doesn't make it somehow, along with the fact we seemed to play better once he was brought on as it allowed rogic to fall back into his preferred position.

If not Hayes then Sinclair as I mentioned, but in either case if we find ourselves in the position were either of those two have to be uptop then Hayes will be starting regardless.

Aye I completely get where you're coming from in terms of thinking of trying something different, just I've seen a few times now people suggesting playing Hayes up front and I don't get why because he's not a striker or goalscorer.

Aye he is methodical in his approach.

If we win this game with the pressure and close proximity of the tie being finely balanced it shows how much we've progressed as a team on the field as well as our ability to handle big game and pressure cooker situations. Be good to see us work on the counter attack. Especially as we seem to score more away than at home. (As BR referenced)

My da is adamant to that its 6:15. I just assumed it was 7:45 but think Dundalk kick off was about 7 out there so 6:15 makes sense.
